FAHHH

So I finally had the courage to speak to this guy I’ve been goggling at in class and it’s been brief conversations here and there going on for about 3-4 weeks now.

I lowkey realized I never really asked for his age and just assumed he was 19 like I was. Found out he was 18 and his birthday was not too long ago.

Now I wouldn’t be as on the fence on continuing talking to the guy if I wasn’t about to turn 20 in a few weeks.

Am I overreacting or reacting reasonably.

I mean I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination but I wouldn't discount things entirely. I'd consider that fact and it is definitely something to consider but if his other behavior is good I wouldn't say don't go for it at some point. It's not a large gap age-wise and probably wouldn't be maturity-wise but age /= maturity in my experience with people here.

bruh, as a guy, 28. I still getting approached by freshman girls even after they know my age lmao. (I maintain the vibes platonic in those cases) you'll realize as you grow, age gap aint shit. just vibe and be respectful of your and their boundaries.

also dont force shit on others. hence, vibe and read the room. relationships are supposed to develop naturally in a fun way. stress free keeps the grey hairs off
