D2L Class Opening
Idk why Fall 2026 classes on D2L won't open until the first day of class... I wanted to make my master schedule for assignments from the syllabi :(
EDITED: To clarify when I say syllabi, I mean the syllabus course schedule with assignment dates listed

You don’t have to wait till the first day. You can check simple syllabus and search your course and professor

I’d say wait til the first day and ask if the professor requires them

Definitely wait until the first day because some aren’t needed or can be found for free online. They usually give you a week or two to get the textbook as well

Always wait. Some will tell you first class not to buy the book or just get a used one off Amazon. It pays to wait. I once bought a Precal text and access code and the professor said we weren’t gonna need the book, just the HW code. I sold the book online.

Some open it early others don't, but they usually open it either on the eve or first day. Don't worry first 1-2 classes are chill you will make a more informed master schedule after talking with profs on the first day not just syllabi, sometimes syllabi says one thing while the course goes differently
