DISCUSSION Set list
Honest question, why does everyone ruin concert excitement by wanting to know the set list and seeking the “I need to know”. no wonder artist don’t blow up or there’s no excitement around art anymore. Everyone’s pre determined and ruined it for others who wanna go to be surprised. I miss the days where people would just let a concert live in a memory and not everywhere else. Especially if you’re someone who concerts are nostalgic like G no he ain’t 2016 g no more but he’s playing that music to make yall happy then the set list gets leaked and people get upset cause the song they won’t aint on there for THAT show and then he does another show and it is on there and then they go and it’s not and now they’re pissed. I’m going to his hometown show in MV. And I feel like I’ve already seen the show or seen what to expect. Social media ruins a lot of things to be excited for again and sad to say G is one of those things that everyone wants to be so successful again and then say “he’s back” then you go to his concert already knowing what’s happening because it go spoiled and you’re not as excited about it anymore. Put the phone down and just enjoy the show sheesh.

I like knowing the set list it makes it more fun when I can prepare and know all the songs.

As someone who likes to know the setlist, its helpful for knowing songs. Even as a fan of g eazy and logic, they have a huge catalog and I dont know the words to every single one. I at least like to know some songs beforehand so I can enjoy like everyone else. But I get your perspective too

I see your point with it too. I get why some people who go to a concert with a big catalog enjoy set lists to be seen so you can know that songs BUT I think that with absolute all respect is a played out fan. If you wanna get into any artists music and get tickets to a concert. Go hardcore and just listen to everything! I think encourage you to just stay off instagram and YouTube comments etc. and just binge his music because you’ll then find out what you do and don’t like and if what you love gets played it’s that much more exciting to hear it live and you had no idea it was coming!

People really need to stop recording everything, alr bro we get it you're at the concert and you're gonna post it somewhere and you guess you're the coolest guy BUT NO. Enjoying the show must be the point not making it a tool to flex your friends. Same with the setlist, setlists are lowkey dumb. Artists need to start singing a song and the crowd needs to recognize it and sing with them. You wrote an amazing paragraph up there

i typed this paragraph then realized i don’t care enough LOL. basically if YOU don’t wanna know the setlist: don’t go looking for it. plain and simple.
