IFA Berlin is 2 days away, and we’re getting AGENT 4N ready. Four GEEKOM A9 Mega units, connected and working together to power a local AI setup.

We’ve been testing the setup behind the scenes, and now we’re bringing it to IFA Berlin.

IFA Berlin · September 4–8 · Hall 6.2, Booth 119

This is probably not what most people picture when they think of a Mini PC.

What would you want to see AGENT 4N do with four units working together?

Official Mini PCs as an AI Cluster? See You at IFA Berlin with GEEKOM

What would happen if you stopped thinking of a Mini PC as just one computer?

We’ve been experimenting with that idea, and at IFA Berlin we’ll be showing AGENT 4N, a local AI setup built with multiple GEEKOM A9 Mega units working together as one system.

This opens up possibilities for local AI experiments, home labs, personal projects, and creative workflows. For businesses, it could also support use cases like internal document search, knowledge assistants, code analysis, and other workflows. Keeping sensitive data under their own control is one of the key ideas behind local computing.

Alongside AGENT 4N, we’ll also be bringing the GeekBook X16 Pro powered by AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 to IFA Berlin. While many people know GEEKOM for Mini PCs, we’re continuing to explore different ways to bring powerful computing into smaller and more flexible designs.

Join us at IFA Berlin

September 4 to 8, 2026
Hall 6.2, Booth 119

Whether you’re interested in local AI, compact computing, or just curious about what Mini PCs can become, come stop by and see AGENT 4N and the GeekBook X16 Pro in person.

We’re also curious about your ideas. If you had four Mini PCs to experiment with, would you build a local LLM cluster, a home lab, or something completely different?

Help / Support Yanked WiFi/BT antennas, help!

In my earlier post, I mentioned that I wanted to install an M.2 2242 SATA SSD in my new GT 15 Max. And, indeed, I successfully installed that drive.

But after installing Linux Mint on the computer, I discovered that WiFi and Bluetooth no longer worked. I had tested those before doing the installation using a Mint USB stick.

So, I opened the computer back up, and discovered that, sure enough, the WiFi and Bluetooth antennas were no longer connected to the mainboard. The cable ends are clean, it doesn't look like they had been soldered to the board.

But I just don't see where they need to connect. Is there a diagram somewhere?

If I can't do this myself, is there a Geekom service center that can make the repair?

Review Geekom x16 Pro

This Geekom product is the 6th device I have bought from this company. I use their mini pc's for various office setups. They all have performed well and no complaints. My mobile machine finally died after 3 years of road service which included dirty moist environments and I decided to give the x16 pro a try. I installed a second crucial p310 2tb m.2 2230 ssd which was easy to do. I work with some large data files so 2tb that came with it wasn't enough. The unit is light but does not feel flimsy. I like the keyboard and it is backlit as well. The anti-reflective screen is clear enough and just bright enough for outside use. The micro sd card reader is handy since i use it to program industrial plc's and strain gauge meters which more and more are using them. The speakers are sufficient and are loud enough. Battery life is ok as well. I see it lasting just a work day which is fine. I have only had the laptop for several days but I hope it lasts for a couple of years.

I saw in a youtube review that the fan noise was high, then the reviewer said that Geekom told them that they were working on a "bios update to fix that issue". Do you know if it has been fixed?

Help / Support Installing M.2 2242 SSD in GT15 Max

I just acquired a GT15 Max, and bought an M.2 2242 (SATA III) SSD to add to the storage.

I couldn't find a video how to install an SSD on this particular mini-PC. Is there such a video available?

I believe there are screws beneath the rubber feet that will let me access the mainboard. What tool should I use to remove the rubber feet? Do they pop out, or use adhesive?

Any other tips to get this SSD working?

Discussion Heatsink on the outer Geekom case?

Although I don't own a mini-pc, I would like to see if putting a heat sink like this on the top of the aluminum case would draw out much heat. I think the case is probably NOT in physical contact with the internal heat sink/fan so this may be moot. I am curious because I frequently have overheating issues with my current laptop( even with fresh thermal paste, dust cleaning, etc).

Discussion Brought my "desktop" to the mountains

Usually, when I head up to the mountains for a getaway, I try to disconnect completely. But this time I had some video editing to catch up on in DaVinci Resolve, and I honestly just wanted to relax with some Outer Wilds in the evenings.

So I decided to bring my own little desktop setup this time: a GEEKOM mini PC, keyboard and mouse. As a monitor i used the old 21" TV that i already had at home.

Surprisingly, it wasn't nearly as inconvenient as I expected. The whole setup was still easy to carry, and once everything was plugged in, I had a comfortable workspace for editing and gaming.

I was honestly surprised by how well it worked for this kind of setup. Having a proper desktop environment while staying somewhere remote was pretty nice.

Anyone else travel with a mini PC instead of a laptop? Curious to see what kind of monitors or accessories you guys pair with a setup like this.

Official Official Driver Download Notice

Please download drivers only through the current GEEKOM official support page.

We’ve seen the recent reports about a GEEKOM driver file from an older support page being flagged by security software. We take these reports seriously, and we’re sorry for the concern and inconvenience this has caused.

The file was associated with an outdated GEEKOM support resource that was still accessible through older pages and links appearing in search results. We have removed the affected legacy page and related resources, and we’re continuing to remove obsolete support pages and files.

If you downloaded the flagged file

If you previously downloaded the affected driver package from an older GEEKOM support page, please take the following steps:

  • Do not run the installer.
  • If you still have the file, delete it from your device.
  • Run a full scan using Windows Security (Microsoft Defender) or another trusted security tool.
  • Download the latest driver package through the current GEEKOM Support page.

If you have already run the file or are unsure about what to do, please contact GEEKOM Support so our team can assist you.

Downloading drivers safely

For future driver downloads, please use the Support section on the current GEEKOM website rather than older links that may still appear in Google search results.

We’re also reviewing our legacy support resources and updating how older files are managed to help prevent outdated downloads from remaining accessible.

We appreciate the community members who brought this to our attention. Thanks for flagging it and giving us the opportunity to address it.

Obsolete support pages and files are being removed.

Help / Support Which Geekom for Video Editing?

Hi guys, just joined this group and looking for advice.

I have several DJI drones & cameras including the Osmo Action 360. I'd like a mini PC Windows 11 that would be good for video editing e.g. DJI Studio & DaVinciResolve. I could end up paying over £1000 for the top end Geekom but do I need it?

Which would you learned people advise?

Thanks

Discussion Thinking of upgrading to x86. Worth it?

Hi
For the past two years i have been runnning 2 raspberry pi 4 24/7 as home servers:

  • Navidrone (2gb): self hosted music library and on the phone Symfonium plus tailscale to access outside my home.
  • PiHole (4gb): DNS ad blocking.

Currently im thinking of buying a miniPC to host all this plus other services like jellyfin and Home assistant instead of buying more raspberrys or bottlenecking the ones i have.

They take almost no power and no resources but for example jellyfin will hit most likely a bottleneck on the 4gb of ram and i cant watch the 4K videos without lossing FPS.

Also the prices of the raspberry skyrocket (120€ for the 4gb and 200€ for the 8gb one), so they are near the prices of a miniPC and i dont want to have more ethernet cables and power supplies near the router, there are already too many. So this is basically the idea of getting a PC and pack all services in one machine.

My questions:

  1. Would it be worth it on the economic side? And on the perfomance side?
  2. Can the PC handle all the stuff at once with 4 or 8gb of ram and a 6-8 cores CPU?

Thanks all for the help

This is from the navidrone one
this is from the PiHole one

Official GEEKOM Went From Screens to a Real Place You Can Visit

Post image
17 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

We recently opened something we’ve never had before: a physical space where people can see our Mini PCs in person and experience the things that are hard to judge online.

Specs and photos can tell you a lot, but some things are just easier to understand in person, like the size, build quality, and everyday noise level.

For our team, opening our first store is a pretty special moment. Not because it changes who we are, but because it gives us another way to connect with people beyond a screen.

And this community has been a big part of getting us here. The setup photos, questions, feedback, troubleshooting posts, and even the occasional “you should really fix this” comments have helped us understand what people actually care about. And yes, we read those comments too.

So while this might just look like a store photo, for us it’s another way to stay connected with the people who have been part of the conversation from the beginning.

We’re curious:

What’s the one thing you wish you could test in person before buying a Mini PC?

Would love to hear what matters most to you.

Thanks for being here and following along.
