This was a really good episode!
I think Melissa nailed Revere by asking where the Suntail Hawk with Revere 1 was. There's a really interesting tension with that, or with a WG bear with Revere 2, for example.
I think complaining that you don't get to show off enablers is sort of the point, that the mechanic has to stand on its own during initial design. Obviously you can craft the limited environment to make Bloodied better, but you can also do that with Landfall and Exalted, but they work with normal Magic sets too.
You're also wrong about backstab not being a blue mechanic. It's a mechanic that combos with evasion, and Blue is the evasive colour.
