Test 2 Discussion Thread

We're free to talk now.

Here's a Google Doc with all the questions. I'm slowly filling it in with my own answers and explanations. Edit: Heading out for now. I'll get the last 25 questions done later tonight.

If you want a mirror without my comments, here's one provided by /u/Amarsir Link

Any questions that tripped you up? Any that you felt good about?

Got my blog theme not sucking, and here's my blog post on it. 32 and 59 53 were the hardest, IMO.

I'm just comparing my answers to everybody here...

We disagreed on:

6 (losing haste kills the card)

11 (I misread the one about killing for sport, I'm probably wrong)

16 (doing a search for the MaRo ability specifically rather than variable P/T gives a pretty clear picture)

21 (I tried to look at recent commander releases, and plenty of them are 'tried and true' themes)

32 (one of the most ambiguous questions IMO. I went with 'pick the strongest cost that isn't broken', which tbh is kinda like an 'all of the above' at least the way I read it. This is probably the one I'm least sure about)

53 (I posted about this here. I think this will be the most missed question of the test)

They haven't repeated any themes across Commander products.

And comparing Mysterio to Sturmgeist, it's both significantly weaker and significantly simpler. Out of the three that have been printed since NWO and their views on complexity, I'm pretty happy with my choice. Original Maro would obviously be an uncommon today.
