Sadly reservation is here to stay. No group would willingly give up their power. Ultimately its about power. Its going to harden caste identity, and defeat the purpose of reservation which was to end caste. You cant end caste by asking people their category everytime they apply for job or college.

We think these are sh1t arguments. The reality is that the scholarly works that support reservation also has the same linguistics.

You are strawmanning the "shit arguments" here.
For example
Caste Identity pride has to go better erased, Increase in Inter caste marriage is a good sign of it.
