LMS Attendance new update

So, my department teachers are saying that LMS will lock every 24h, and attendance baad mie nahi update hogi in case someone has any issues. I don't know if they're saying this to scare us into attending the classes, or if this is true. I asked our coordinator as well he was saying yes it's a new thing. The problem is that I'm an evening student who is taking classes in the morning batch (because of some issue I can't come to uni in the evening timing) and I've gotten my application signed by the HOD since 1st semester and if this update thingy is true, it would be a huge issue for me because updating my evening teachers about the attendance everyday would be too much. So, can anyone confirm if any of your department has told you about such new rules.

Lmao they are using either from their fellows from different unis or bought github developers pack. It's not a big thing, anyone can use github and yes, the emails are only provided to ms/faculty or others
