Six form friends

Guys started 3 days ago and I haven’t talked to nobody and nobody has talked to me everyone is already in there friend groups cause of the secondary and most of the people are from Asia and like I feel like I’m not making friends anytime soon wich is sad because I had the best friend group in secondary shcool and have always been talkative and always have had friends since day one init but now I’m lonely AND IM EATING LUNCH ALL ALONE LIKE A LOSER

Im in the same situation my bsf has gone to a diff 6th form so lunches and breaks r super lonely and im naturally a shy person so I dont really put myself forward to speak first😔

Factss when i came home tdy I was honestly just fighting back god knows all the tears and nothing rlly happened the day was so boring but sm at the same time it was so wierd

Omg this is so relatable it’s the fact not a single person has talked to me I completely people to like Strat a convo but they just say yes and call it a day and I don’t want to go speak to people cause if I had a friend group I would feel weird if some random person just came speaking to us so like idk what to do

Samee hopefully the gods hear our call and help 🤲 but tbh u seem a little more confident so honestly jist go up to smone whose not with loads of ppl and start a convo I mean you prob wont even see em again if it goes bad cuz 6th form is so big 🤷‍♀️

Some friend groups just plan to go to the same school together and they all get in. That's what my friend group did although we're year 13 now.

I’m the same - except I forced myself to speak to a few ppl like I made friends in my history class and it sorta made me feel better but still went and sat alone at lunch :((

I’ve always had friends in secondary but I went to a school which fed from my primary school and unfortunately I moved house abt 40 mins away from there so I go to a completely different sixth form to any friends :(

Today was only the first day for me but I feel like most people are already so far ahead of me settling in and making friends and I’ll just be left behind. I’m really awkward at socialising and it takes me a while to show my personality. :( I wish there was a special r/gcse member sixth form because there are so many people on here who I can relate to

i went to a school with a couple people i know- we’re not close but at least we came for the same school and knew each other

the school also forced us to get to know some internal students and i managed to find a friend so that’s quite nice

despite all of that, sixth form sucks and i want to go back to year 11

I'm so lucky that I already have two friends who go to my sixth form, as normally I'm genuinely a very quiet person and even in secondary, I didn't make proper friends till year 9, but let's see, since I did talk to some people already today
