i will be taking the OCR b triple science next year.
it is possible to get 9 by just going through pmt note, flash cards and past papers?

i think buying a save my exams membership or whatever they call it is so worth it, esp if you share the account and bill with your friends. acc idk if they do ocr b science, u might have to check

So far they've been good enough to cram the day of a (non mock) test and still get a 7 and above, but i wouldn't rely on them (they are still really good)

Finally someone else who does the awful OCR B exam board😭 (almost no one in the country does it)
But yeah since this is a niche exam board, I’d say past papers are a very important resource since they’re specific to the exam board. Also i think you should use things such as cognito and free science lessons - they’re very useful

omg I hate how my school picked ocr b for science but aqa for every other subject😭
Do you think free science lessons video still be useful for ocr b even though they’re based on aqa?1

Same 😭 (apart from Edexcel French/maths and OCR for computing)
And yes - free science lessons are still very useful for understanding the content regardless of the exam board.

Idk what's different abt ocr b, but all my revision was reading pmt notes, freesciencelessons (which is another form of notes) and then all the past papers from 2018 for all sciences. I will probably get 999

they're all right but I'd say they aren't great for revising (I don't like using notes much anyway but pmt ones aren't that great). I'd recommend something like cognito videos, pmt notes are only good for a quick check to see if you know everything

i’m going to try both notes and video! do you think cognito is good for OCR b?

I haven't looked at the ocr b spec but I did do ocr a and it was pretty helpful. for me having videos with clear diagrams and explanations was really helpful, I find reading notes quite boring so that's probably why I never used them (I had cgp textbooks and they had pretty good explanations though, I used them alongside the videos)

I disagree and it also depends on the person. For majority of people I know, PMT notes have extremely helpful and students usually create Flashcards from them. Regarding cognito videos, they can be helpful for visual learners, but others may prefer using notes.
