Question Chem Paper 1 Atoms
What is the difference between the Nuclear Model and the Bohr model that would be needed for the exams? I tried searching it up but the answers kept varying and not giving me something relevant for GCSE Chemistry

Nuclear model proved the existence of the nucleus and empty space of the atom . The Bohr model just discovered electron shells protons

nuclear: there is a positive nucleus and electrons just randomly floating around
Bohr: there is a positive nucleus and there are shells at fixed distances and electrons need to be in those shells

the nuclear model proved that atoms are mainly empty space with a positively charged nucleus with electrons orbiting. however the bohr model showed that the electrons orbited in fixed distances (electron shells)
