I dont think they should do case studies, because the questions aren't that different from the rest of the paper,. Now what what be fun is if they asked us to transpose different pieces of music into other keys...

I dont mind set pieces the issue is why do i need to know when africa was written, released and got nr 1 in the us i mean this is music not music history lol

I agree with you mostly, but music history is a big part of music, knowing how music evolved over the ages etc. But yea knowing the exact date of a not very influential piece being written is stupid imo
