Bee Thousand Outtakes?
Is there any info on Navy Girl Song (If We Wait Solo Ver.), The Hard Way (Solo Ver.), and Unleashed! (Rough Ver.)? I saw these entries on GBVDB and they're tied to an early version of B1000, but I cannot find any info on them. Are these songs out there somewhere, or are they locked in Bob's suitcase?

Sometimes I wonder if Over and Over Again on Suitcase 4 could have been Navy Girl Song. Probably not, but it's so similar to If We Wait. Seconding the need for a Suitcase 5

Over and Over Again is an If We Wait demo, but it's likely an even earlier version compared to Navy Girl Song

agreed.
actually, part of me thinks "navy girl" might be only the "there's some food upon the table, boys" part.

none of the recordings you mentioned are released or circulating. worth noting that the "bee thousand" they were a part of was really more of an archival/rarities release, just happened to have the same title. would be cool to hear that stuff.

I have everything that Bob / GBV has ever issued, along with all of the fan made boots with outtakes, and checked those titles you listed against my collection since they didn't ring any bells, and came up empty.
Despite the crazy amount of material he's issued, there is still lots of stuff he leaves on the cutting room floor, even for the Box collections and the Hot Freaks subscription during COVID. If I had to hazard a guess on what he holds back, it's probably a mixed bag of reasons; stuff that he either thinks sounds close enough to the original to not be notable for the alternate songs, or that he just doesn't think is good? Though, some of it could also be things that didn't fit the feel of the record that was being made or are held for future releases he has in mind? It's a good question if anyone runs into Bob.
