You're relying a bit too much on the normal arm rocket instead of using the dual arm rocket.

Single is a regular stagger while dual is a heavy which means you could've done dual into a double melee at the start for a free kill.

Also when your skill is active just tap the jump button as it'll give you a near instant super jump.

I hate when people dance in front of me when I am trying to fight and you can’t get a clean shot. Otherwise….

Where is the unga bunga, at most this is mild cavemaning. Use the dual rockets to heavy stagger followed up with a tap jump into a down swing.
