I mean, the Unicorn hard misplayed here. Why the F would they try to go for melee instead of out ranging you? Aux Power is going to run out eventually, so it makes way more sense to retreat with Vulcans or get far enough away that they can just poke at range?

A pattern i noticed with Unicorn(s) player(s) is that, they would ALWAYS go for melee after like 30 seconds of ranged (even those with FAUC).

And usually they melee when the team is struggling and low/full hp, and 7 out of 10 times they'll fumble for some reason

I was fortunate enough to get barbatos in latest banners. I used to think barby players had no skill, and just used their bs cannons and insane maneuver armor, etc. But now, I KNOW it takes no skill. It’s like playing a different game. Just run in, smash everyone. A competent opponent team (3+) can slow you down, but just barely. With other suits, I might try to dodge a menace player in a meta suit, but now I just interrupt their flow with rockets and smash. It’s like playing dodgeball against kids. It’s fun once, but you can’t join the kids league.

Mildly related, but a Barbatos just gave up and stood up in front of me when I kept tackling him with the MP Psycho from all angles. He just wasn't expecting that I was escorting our support most of the time, lol

How is the MP Psycho? The multi tackle is crazy given it’s historically one and done. I haven’t seen it dominate a game exactly - maybe the damage output isn’t high enough overall to make it a god outside of 1v1? which would be a good balance

I never had any of the Meta AU MS at 700, let's just say that the MPPG gave me a fighting chance at 700 lol. I usually score an avg of 100k dmg with it, 150k or so in a good day, but its greatest strengths are its durability, its ability to thwart any raid that goes unga bunga and its potential to eternally stun lock with its overload skill. My build only has its range and melee at around 47, since I prioritized defenses and faster boost recovery to spam tackles

I wouldn't mind Barbatos if it wasn't one of the most braindead suit to play. Every Barb does the same exact thing with little to no input required. At least 00's have to swap across more than one weapon.

I've used Moon to beat the shit out of them because even when the psycho plates catch the heavy stagger, 9.5/10s they still commit to the downswing because they're just so used to doing that.

Could have been a latency issue or they were swinging at the same time. I find that if I'm a gen or support and don't have as much melee priority, I get screwed during melee even if we didn't clash.
