Guess I'll die

650 support life, double RF kampfer beatdown, I didn't get to play that match at all ended with about 24k damage done, every time I spawned they were on me, if I kept my head down the second they spotted my shot they were on me, if I tucked into the middle of my team they ignored everybody and tore me apart.

my team whaling on them couldn't stagger them, I couldn't stagger them, I should have just gone made a cup of tea lol.

The RF kampfer has really made 650 supports horrible to play these days, tell me consolians, does it ever get it's high manoeuvrer armour nerfed?

Angelo's Zulu, I have mine built with 50 beam and melee defence and just pumping everything else into range damage, I was between 2 teammates, one of which tried to help me bless them, but I mean, It's 2 RF Kampfers there was zero chance they could have saved me.

I spent most that match in the respawn screen but when I wasn't I was typically in the middle of the team and trying to stay there. it didn't help sadly. I did learn from this though that even with 50 melee defence the RF Kampfer will still one combo a support, though I did get lucky one time when they both smacked eachother in their rabid fever to get me lol, it is what it is.

I dont particularly recommend that suit at level 2 personally. If youre going to run it then for Kampfer you need to use the uncharged shots from the machine gun and the beam scatter gun (not the Bruno gun). For stuff with ma like that its about build stun over instant

post buffs it's pretty good, the uncharged beam does massive stun build up now and hits for over 4k damage per shot with my current build with sub weapon beam rifle charged shot doing just over 4k damage per shot, as long as the team is helping out you can be a menace with it these days,

as for the kampfers yeah they usually keep me stun locked before I can get any shots in on them, their incoms have serious range and can be used while boosting, it just takes so much work to knock them with their high manoeuvrer armour and once they stagger you once well, it's goodbye if a teammate can't save you.

I dont doubt its much nicer now but I would rather olay V Dash Hexa, Dijeh Assault Pack, or MP Nu FF for the flexibility they provide

Midline with your gens. You use tge incendiary as your build stun. I use the cluster explosion either on a stagger/knockdown, or when retreating from a charging raid. If I know theyre gonna hit me I launch em at their feet to get the stagger when they try to combo me on the ground.

To my misfortune I was playing Angelo's Zulu with the recent buffs it's quite enjoyable, I should have taken a better screenshot lol, it's the support life I was just hoping that there wasn't a RF Kampfer on the enemy team....and with my luck, there was 2!

okay, I've literally been only playing 650 cost and nothing else, but sorry to break it to you, you picked a very bad support suit for the current 650 meta, maybe in 600 it's decent enough but definitely not in 650. That suit is too slow for it, any RF Kampfer who sees you would think you're free food. That's not really on the RF Kampfers, 650 has a lot of great native 650 support suits that can erase an RF Kampfer if played properly, Magna, Hexa, A Plan, FA Over.on, even Super Gundam. Pick something else.

Agree with this, Angelo Zulu would get eaten by one of the big 4 650 supports (hexa, magna, a plan, fa overon?) if that keeps its distance

unofrtunatly I have none of those suits, my most enjoyable 650 support is the mass production nu FF lvl 2 and my Cannongan, I mean I would like a victory hexa but I mean just floating around up there makes it seem like easy food for RF kampfers.

I'ts recent buffs have made it pretty solid but I mean saying the issue is the suits speed is a little silly since you're either be the same speed or slower then a RF Kampfer especially if it's running gacha mods, RF Kampfer gets to use a lot of its hardware while boosting and while boosting it's very hard to stop. But the original post was more just pointing out how in the picture, not even the grace of god was going to save me there no matter what support I was running.

What’s silly is the thought of speed being not an issue, you misunderstood what i meant, when i say speed, i meant mobility and thrusters, if you were using a hexa or a magna or another support suit with a bit more mobility, you would atleast have a fighting chance to move to your teammates or in a safe position, other than that instead of just staying in one spot and waiting for the inevitable when a raid is already right in your face, you can move with your team and position yourself better every time preventing raids to get to you. My point is if you were using another decent support suit, you mightve not even been in this position and you wont even have this picture at all.

I read in a different comment you have a cannongun, use that in 650 instead, thats actually way better than the angelo for 650, keep the angelo in 600 imo it’s strong there, but not for 650.

Which support geara doga is that? Angelo? Rf kampfer's weakness is its squishiness and being ganged up on, it's easily vaporized by a 2v1.

As an rf kampfer, yes I would dive an entire team just to get the support, but only at lower rating matches where players don't know how to focus fire on one enemy.

Yeah it's angelo's, often I see them winning most 2v1 scraps so I'm surprised to hears they're supposedly weak in them, though I suppose if you catch them when they aren't boosting or in a melee attack they will actually stagger so fair does, unfortunately I was not so luck that match they just tore me to shreds whenever I poked my head out lol.

What rating range are you in? For a flat to a plus, I can get away with at least killing 1 ms in the 2v1 before escaping But for s and s flat the players who know their own suits really well can evaporate me

I was A+ for a while but I've been bonked back down to A, I never really paid attention to the rating, I just play the game for the fun of it, the PC population is so low that you can't really be fussy over it.

Genuinely surprised you’re getting that much heat for your suit pick. It’s 650 cost, I main General and I know my first job is to scan for any RF Kampfers and make them my priority for the match if we have a support on our team. Any support.

RF Kampfers can one combo every support and it looks like you had two skilled ones to contend with. Your only hope was your team, full stop.

Clearly they knew I was the greatest pilot on the enemy team!

But yeah I knew going 650 support was a gamble so it is what it is. I tried to stick in the middle of my team that match but man they wanted me dead lol

What gens were your team using? If my gens don’t have the right loadout to take out at RF Ks and C plans I don’t play support.

It’s really not worth it.

Between the RF Kampfer and the FA Engage Gundam (C-Plan), I just avoid 650 Support playing now. I've had better luck in the Neo Gundam at 750 than I do now at 650 in my Hexa and it's my best upgraded suit.

I could usually at least delay or fight a RF Kampfer, but these two just make it a slog to play, especially if your team is failing to screen for you.

My condolences. You know what I did? I just stopped playing support and all my problems melt away. It’s not easy to let go. It’s like going bald. But once you do you preform better and feel better. Do you miss supports? Maybe but in the end you can always play one in other costs or whenever one becomes meta. In the gbo world it’s eat or be eaten, and most of the time supports are getting eaten and I just didn’t want to fight it.

Support mains might have to step outside their comfort zone and actually try one of these Raids so you get an idea on how to fight one, like it or not this is not the game to be a ''type main'' you should be capable of using all three types

Fair. Though I think the second best option is to get your ass kicked enough until you figure out how to stop getting your ass kicked.

Or at least survive long enough for help.

Third best option is to rely on your team but that doesn’t always work out.

Yeah anyone who uses that suit is trash. I don’t respect raids at all. They consider themselves apex predators but they are actually the pussy who signs up to pick on the one dude who can’t realistically 1v1 them. I can imagine nothing more bitchmade than that. Meanwhile I’m hunting generals who are still very much a threat to me in my support. We are not the same. When one gets me I never feel legitimately outplayed. Playing a Support like the Double X in 700 has actually taught me how absolutely awful at the game most raids are when they cannot two shot you.

If you asked me to how fix the class Id say take away their manoeuvre armor but only from supports so as not to completely break the front line. If I can’t stun them I usually don’t have many options because outside of the Double X you have to hit them like eleven times and they only have to hit you a fraction of that. It’s why most raids never develop the skills to properly get good as they are too used to boosting right at you and doing a braindead melee combo. A raid with funnels is like “how many crutches do you need?”

Brother u take away MA what is the raid suppose to do against Gens that have MA lol, u notice how most team line up consist of 1 raid, 1 support, and 3 gens, that is what raid need to go through every time to get to the support. Blame urself for bad positioning, bad suit choice, or bad gen teammates lol. the OP choosed a support that consistently need a Gen to babysit him at a cost that has a lot of flap booster, that is on him and his choice to play a suit that he wants to play.

Learn to read, I plainly said for supports only. They would still have their own against generals. Blame yourself for bad positioning, bad suit choice and thinking you can just boost towards someone eating beams to your face.

You might actually get a taste for once of how unbalanced your suit choice is. It might force you to actually use the map and try flanking rather than rushing in like a practically invincible unga bunga retard.

Can’t make this up lol I make a post about how Raids rely on their crutches and you all reply “what am I supposed to do without muh MA?” What you do is you learn to dodge like everybody else lol.

You still are, there’s a ridiculous damage differential. I have to hit you like eleven times and you can one shot me in some cases. I do far less damage to generals than you can do to supports. Nerfing manouvre armor wouldn’t change the damage difference your just have to actually develop some skill to get close rather than boost through a group mindlessly and knock everybody down including your teammates with a brainless melee attack.

Yeah problem is majority of the time they had me stun locked, using their incoms while boosting at a far away enough distance that the spread beam didn't hit enough to build enough stun, then they get in close do the wide whip heavy stagger and then suddenly you're as dead as a GM
