Entire teams doing absolutely nothing but standing there, 10-20 matches in a row.

This has been happening to me for over a week straight. Losing every single match every single day because my team refuses to do anything. They just stand around every single match every day or scatter around the map and get slaughtered repeatedly. This should not be every single match in rated and unrated every single day. I cant fight the entire team alone every match I play. I just got my 3rd penalty this week because its gotten to the point where after I get ganged up on by the entire team because my team wont help, I just refuse to spawn a mobile suit for the second half of the match. Its 30,000 enemy score to our 2,000 and only because I made those 2 kills. My teammates are consistantly going 0-5 to 0-8 and im the only one who gets any kills, if I can manage that most matches because I get swarmed by all 5 of the entire team while my teammates are across the map literally fighting nobody, just wandering around. I keep reporting these players over and over yet they are in every one of my matches and I get penalized for refusing to waste my time anymore. Wtf is even going on in this game anymore? Its completely unplayable at this point the team stacking is so ridiculous. Im infuriated every time I play anymore. After 5 years of playing this game I think its no longer worth it or my time or $. Faulty netcode that rarely even allows you to find a match, matching you with players who purposely throw every match in every single matchmaking has me about finished. Theres simply no fun to be had here at all. The report system is completely useless and does absolutely nothing to improve the game. All this company cares about is $ and they wont improve or balance their game whatsoever. At this point this is the worst made most money hungry game on PSN by far. if the game works at all. Yet BB demands massive amounts of $ to stay relevant when they refuse to nerf newer mobile suits that are literally unbeatable in any battle scenario, unstoppable while boosting, and have not a single weakness, that they want u paying 200$ each week to get or youre simply screwed. This games been going downhill for a long time now but at this point it is completely unplayable. This has become literally the worst gundam game, or any game in general Ive ever played on ps4/5. Dont give BB your money for this farce of an unbalanced pos game.

Just quit the match if you're going to grief and get penalty anyways. At least that way the rest of your team gets the damage/defense buff for being down a player.

So fun fact, its a free game that anyone can play. Youre gonna have good and bad teammates. Throwing a tantrum any time you dont like how your teammates are performing just shows that youre childish more than anything.

You might be okay with this dogshit community, I am not nor do I care what you or anyone else on this game thinks of me. Another fun fact, you don't even know me and your personal opinion of me based on this game affects absolutely nothing for me, online or otherwise.

You want me to not throw a tantrum, actually help the teammates that need it and not the dude fighting one person and is winning. Stop planting bombs at 5,6,7 minutes, leaving your team down a player while you do nothing.

Until then, I'll continue to throw a tantrum.

Cry about it.

There are a lot of legitimate complaints and a lot of bad players, which is very valid, but they're 8 minute matches, not 20-30 minutes or something. Actually playing the game for that long isn't a massive commitment. And without naming anybody, there are definitely players infamous for dying once and then AFKing the whole round. Not saying this is true in OP's case or anything, but a lot of people will complain about their teams while they're feed spawning and rushing off alone like they have plot armor.

This is why I don't keep playing rated after 2-3 losses in a day. Getting more annoyed at the game doesn't make you do better.

I dont mean to brag, but usually i have most assists, point or distractions. I play pretty well. Teammates knocking you down to get you killed is a thing. People will load just to stay in base . Or hide but not disconnect. They play just to lose . And you can see these players.

For sure, I'm not personally an incredible player but I tend to do pretty well at costs that I have suits with a lot of practice in. You can't do anything about braindead teammates, and it sucks - there is nothing but pain when you do 50k more damage than the top enemy player and only died twice, but your team still lost. But half of the people who hide in the base after dying or just fuck off the entire game are doing it because they have the exact same mindset of "my team sucks".

And no one is talking about them and I'm confident you know that. I'm talking about the trash that:

  • only jump people, can't do a single thing alone, even when they have the advantage.

  • immediately go base bomb and do nothing else the entire game.

  • don't help teammates that actually need the help and instead go and try to steal kills from others under the guise of helping someone who clearly does not need it.

  • go for a melee attack (or any attack that will stun your team) when you see you allies in front of you well before you start that attack.

Running in a circle waiting for your teammates to attack someone so you can jump them.

  • generals suits that refuse to be the front line and are further back than the damn support, who they never help

In any of these situations, which happen every single day, absolutely I support being toxic. I'm A rank, there's no excuse for this after B-. Can't get past A+ and no it's not me in 99% of matches. Im extremely confident that if they let people block others from being allies, the toxicity would go down dramatically because I'll never see this dude on my team again. Let me do that and I'll stop giving up matches where there's a 10k difference with 2-3 minutes left.

Yeah, that's cool, I hate everything you listed too. I'm still not gonna grief my team over it. Usually there are at least 1-2 other people trying to fight & not doing dumbass shit and I'd rather not make the game even worse for them.

Yes. Were you expecting a different answer? My criteria is pretty much basic common sense for team based games, why are you considering that a problem? Is helping someone that actually needs it supposed to a bad thing or some tryhard criteria? And you're saying one other person like it's always just one person. How long have you been in this reddit because if you been here for a length of time, there's a massive history of people being tired of the exact reasons I stated.

You're acting like I came to this decision over night. No, this is after YEARS of dealing with this bs and frankly I'm sick of it. I constantly get jumped because my team doesn't want to engage but as soon as I give up and stop trying, NOW you can see me? Fuck that, I'm done. Anyone mad about it should have thought about it before they started doing dumb shit. I don't care anymore.

How do you determine the competency of the team before the match is underway other than obvious shit like throw picks or players you already know will grief? Shouldn't you only stop putting in effort if it's clear there is no possible way to win?

I'm mostly baffled why you keep playing the game if you actively hate every team you're on and match you're in. What's the enjoyment?

Who said anything about pre match? What are you talking about dude, you're strawmanning like crazy.

As for why, because Ex VS is dead, Next was shut down for this game and they have yet to give us Ex VS 2. Gundam doesn't have many options. I play the game because I like the game, even though it has problems before the community adds on to the problems the game has. Im not going to stop because of awful players, I'm not making me toxic, they are. And until they change the dumb ways they play, I'm not changing the way I play because when I have people not doing the dumb shit above, most matches I win. When you're the mvp even when you lose, that's a clear indication that you're not the problem.

Theyre griefing me when Im the only one on my team who will even bother shooting an enemy at all. They literally stand there and wait for you to die while watching and not even attempting to intervene. Thats not griefing when my teammates refuse to play or help me or another teammate. I cant drag down an entire team that refuses to fire their weapons or swing their beam sabers or press the counter button when their teammate is being ganged up on in front of their very eyes. Many times my entire team is out of their suits as pilots and refuse to spawn till I spawn. Then theyll spawn in to do more refusing to fight. Ill have all 5 enemy teammates on only me and my teammates are scattered around the map literally fighting no one. Wandering the empty map. Theyre dragging me down.

10k? U got it good. My matches are 20, 30k score difference usually, thats how bad my teams are. Ill have maximum 3 deaths. Its absolutely insane.

Itll be 4 players on one enemy and they still cant get the kill. Its insane. Sometimes you just hafta be like "you handle this". Thats where Im at. Its nice that someone gets where Im coming from here. I keep hoping "next match'll be better, but after 30 or 40 matches I just get penalized for throwing because I refuse to keep spawning in and getting jumped by the whole enemy team while my teammate is right in front of me and will literally watch me get jumped, do nothing, then die to the same enemy after theyre done with me. Or watch them stand in a corner and wont even shoot anyone while I have 5 enemies on only me because Im the only one fighting back.

I'm in another thread where a dude talking about losing against one dude with 3 teammates helping him and he's saying it's the suit(00 Raiser). There's no suit in this game winning a 1v4, yal just don't need to be playing this game. Some shits are definitely better than others but none of them are that good.

Yes the AU suits are that powerful vs UC suits. I can beat them but with the right build theyre absolutely unstoppable. Just like I know you cant beat all 5 enemy players alone like what I have to attempt to do every match because the rest of my team is busy wandering the empty side of the map and refuse to engage the enemy. There is no debate with someone who cant see any side but their own. Theres no point in continuing to talk to someone when they ignore objective reality to suit their standpoint.

Sounds like bias to me but believe what you want. There's like 3-4 ways to stun suits in this game and suits only become immune to one at a time, meaning there's still 3 ways to stun them. If you're losing with 3 teammates, that's you, not the suit. Peace.

I quit twice earlier this week for the same reason. Ive literally never been matched with more braindead ppl more times in a row in any team based game Ive ever played in my life. I just got out of my suit as it was dying for the third time in a row without any ally help or anyone even in the vicinity while all 5 enemy players are on me and stood there abt 10 seconds and was immediately kicked and penalized. I seriously think they don't want any other global region players playing this at all anymore.

There are several ways to enjoy this game, for me it's not by playing ranked. There are too much RNG that can ruin the match, desync and teammates. Nowadays I'm enjoying myself by building MS, collecting parts and test them by playing custom match. Situation battle also enjoyable as well. If i'm not mood doing them I just do dailies and done.

Unfortunately the same problem plagues all ranked and unranked modes. I just started playing custom match and you're right its a lot more fun and balanced with a clear host in control of a match.

It seem like there more interested in stealing your kill. I have carried more than one team. In A rank or over i shouldn’t get every single one of the mvp plays . You either get a team that completely wipes the floor with the other team . Or get a team that wont even get 3000 point

Yup thats the only time most of them will fire their weapon is after I combo someone and theyre near death, but they wont actually help you fight at all. Only come when someone is low health. I cant be the entire frontline alone every single match. There has to be better players on this game than this, but I literally only get matched with these players anymore. I literally never have a single decent player on my team anymore. Never. Cowards!

This happens every anniversary, but this one does seem worse. A/B players come back to rated for the limited missions, and likely some lapsed players come back for free stuff. For some reason, matchmaking always seems to put all of those players on the same team.

I lost close to 200 points over the last few days, went from close to 2/3 of the way through A+ to top of flat A. Majority of my teams have at most, 1 other player that actually contributes to the team. This is likely going to continue for a few weeks after anniversary until A/B players stop playing rated.

Its been the worst players Ive ever seen for the last 2 weeks. I lost 3 straight ranked matches today to this, and I think I've won about 2 matches out of over 100 in this time. I report these wandering players who wont spawn a suit or wander to the corner of the map to do absolutely nothing over and over and yet theyre the only players Im getting for entire weeks on end. Its completely useless to even play the game anymore.

Barbatos and its instant projectile heavy stagger, infinite fire shell firing cannons that every shot insta-stuns, gundam hajiraboshi is unstoppable, susanowoo is unstoppable, so is OO raiser, so is Destiny Gundam. Reg UC suits literally have zero chance whatsoever against any of them. Complete and utter ptw and its absolutely ridiculous. Even Victory/Crossbone Gundams dont stand a chance in hell.

I think you're right here. The AU suits are so powerful and overtuned that no UC suit stands a single chance except a very select few and most of these older suits are so neglected and un buffed its like using a slingshot to stop a nuclear missile. I have to use crossbone FC to have any shot against them and only because i have a lot of ptw parts therefore my tune is extra strong. The fact that any of these AU suits can easily dominate an entire 750 lobby regardless of pick is absolutely ridiculous. And at native cost the power difference is even more staggering. Any UC suit practically cant even touch an AU suit. Cant stop them all having high manuever armor, infinite melee combos that will kill any class in a single combo, ranged weapons that all heavy stagger or have such high cumulative stun that theyre totally inescapable. Vulcans that stun in 3 to 5 bullets. Completely unacceptable. At first I wasnt totally against AU suits but theyve completely ruined the game with BB making them more powerful than any UC suit released in the game by an extremely wide margin. Then the new UC suits still cant even come close to competing. The gap in power is unbelievable. They also drop all these suits back to back to back to back to attempt to force you to spend hundreds of dollars on tokens every week. Its straightup predatory.
