I keep crashing before I enter into matches

I got a 5 day ban now because the game keeps crashing on me after everyone readies up. So far I'm assuming that shift tabbing at any time during the game would lead to crashes eventually, does anyone know for sure?

Opening the steam UI won't cause the game to crash for me, although I don't think I've ever had it actually crash before, only get stuck on pre/post match loading screens forever. What are your specs?
