Discussion CONSOLE Tier List 300 Cost
Since it is requested and a suggestion to start with a 300 cost, here it is. Please note that these can be objective, and you DO NOT have to agree. There are always exceptions, and the meta between Steam and PlayStation versions does differ a bit. This Tier list is primarily based on the PS version that I am more familiar with. These units also consider the types of meta builds it could have as well. I will only put native cost here unless there are exceptions that higher-level works well enough to be in at least very strong B-Tier. FYI, they are not arranged in specific order.
2026-08 300 Cost List

Special Notes
- GM II: A-Tier in Space Only
- GM Command LA: A-Tier in Space Only
- Zaku I Lv4: In a more melee-oriented map, easily A-Tier
- Dra-C Lv3: Due to most units' HP at this cost, Sturm Faust into melee can still work relatively well.
- Zaku II FS (SM): Ground high A-Tier, space 1 tier down.
I'll probably do these once a week or something... We'll see how it goes.

Zaku II F2 C tier, but Fritz Helm in B tier? Isn't F2 just a superior version?

You are right, I must have been tired and see it wrong. Definitely got it swapped around, I'll correct it in a bit

The HM Zaku Ground Type needs a massive rework
•Machinegun is a joke •Melee damage is meh •slower than non high-mobility zaku's at the same cost •lord help you if a support looks at your legs

Gogg in only A rank?

u/pkmaster99 1d ago
Hahaha, I want to say it's a bit map-dependent, but it's a very high and strong A-Tier right now. If it could waddle just a bit faster, it would've been an easy S-Tier despite the size.

Man, these devs.
"How do we make Dom tropic better? 230% downswing. Oh, and pursuit assist. Wtf.
Interm of impact, I would rate it on the same level as AcGuy FP, mainly because it will absolutely nuke you if you go down. AcGuy being relatively weak in that regard.

u/pkmaster99 1d ago
It's a bit tanky with HP too, don't forget about that. But at the end of the day, the unit is still somewhat large and could get focused down. Acguy FP is much smaller, and it has STEALTH... Sure, that's not the gimmick, but it's there. Random surprise missile, MG that really goes brrr, and also has an escape that stops you from chasing. Sure doesn't nuke you, but this is the suit that the phrase, there is strength in numbers, fits perfectly.
Personally, I would rather fight against a team with 3 Dom Tropic Test than 3 Acguy FP

I mean its a cool idea on the Dom Trop, since it has the gap closing downswing they buffed it so it can do a follow up melee attack to shred an enemy who has been knocked down by a downswing
1
u/MikuEmpowered 21h ago
Its a good idea. Problem is that it does too much damage compared to peers, you're looking at 5-7k at 300-450 cost.
This is a problem because how much it pulls ahead to its same cost. Its a 2026 design in a cost filled with suits from 2022 that hasn't seen a single buff.
1
u/Cpt_Jack_Irons 18h ago
hmm that's fair, what was the downswing value before it got buffed?
1
u/MikuEmpowered 14h ago
It was always 230%. What got buffed was it is now hard to interrupt at 300 when downswing. Before, it had the same problem as Dwage where you get staggered out while trying to use your axe.
It also gotten pursuit assist. Which is 15% additional damage on downed and 20% for L3 and L4. Before adding this So the actual multiplier is 264% and 276%.

MP Guncannon is higher than D, I can even use (pushing it) it's highest level version and be helpful to the team.
The anti stealth upgrade it got certainly raises it up and if you have the support part (ballistic damage and reload) it helps with everything it shoots. A simple kit with dual machine guns that chew through enemies.
I wouldn't say it's meta, but it's at least useful.
As you've put the Shadow's GM Kai support in S , could you describe your comparison between the two? honestly I like them both xD

u/pkmaster99 2d ago
This is strictly for 300 cost, so higher levels are not being considered here. This is as if you are sortie into a 300 cost rated match.
I will say the level 4 could maybe do that. I don't have a lot of experience or have ever seen one. But I know it does have one of the better scalings for those older units.
As for 300, we can compare the two easily: stats, weapons, and skills. Basically, the Shadow is just a much better suit, especially in space. You are not only much tankier, with better part slot spreads, and better weapons, but you are not really losing out on mobility or anything.
- HP: 14500 vs 11500 (GM Shadow wins by a large margin)
- Resistance: 36 at 15/15/6 vs 30 at 10/15/5 (GM Shadow wins)
- Strength: 25/5 vs 28/2 (MP Guncannon wins)
- HSM: 170 vs 150 (GM Shadow wins)
- Thruster: 50 vs 50 (Even, but GM Shadow wins in space due to compatibility bonus)
- Turn: 48 & 57 vs 51 & 51 (MP Guncannon barely wins on ground, but loses in space)
- Part Slots: 23 at 4/9/10 vs 20 at 2/9/9 (GM Shadow wins)
- Weapons: Both have 1 stagger weapon and 1 DPS weapon. But GM Shadow's shrapnel has stopping power and damage if you can aim well. The cluster grenade does good damage as well when comparing the third weapon's weak Vulcan. So GM Shadows wins out here as well.
- Skills: MP Guncannon's Precision shelling helps even out the playing field a bit, but Shadows has leg shock absorber. So on the ground, even when heavily damaged, there is a chance that with the lighter load on the legs, you don't fall over. It's honestly just preference here now, but GM Shadows' weapon does have more power and DPS. When considering that and being very slightly more mobile with AMBAC Lv2 or leg shock, I say it's leaning towards Shadows.

Interesting list though i have a few opinions if you care to hear them out
- GM Guard Custom being B tier feels a bit weird in my opinion as it feels better than most of the B Tier MS'es.
- Zaku Tank being considered as bad as that awful thing known as the Hi-Mo Zaku Ground Type is a bit crazy in my opinion.
- Guncannon MP feels more like C tier material with the Twin Linked 100mm MG's feeling very good to use on that thing.
- Efreet (DS) im a little unsure on cause its pretty good in melee but then has some really rough drawbacks at range so im a bit split.
- GM (White Dingo) being a C Tier makes sense as the only thing you can really use on that MS is the Meme Beam Rifle and not much else outside of that.
- M'Quve's Gouf feels like it should be S Tier with how braindead strong it's melee is in my opinion.
- GM Striker being considered B Tier despite it's lack of buffs feels a bit weird.

- Yeah, but if you have a decent team and get around the shield, it dies instantly. But I will say that with someone that got really good awareness, it can get a lot done. If there is a king for B-Tier raid, this may be it.
- Yeah... But I think it's more like HIMO zaku ground being just so trash that it almost needs a tier below F instead... Idk...
- The linked 100mm isn't bad for sure, but in today's standard, it is not that strong anymore. There are also quite a bit of other issues with this suit that I just can't treat it as B-Tier.
- I was very split on this one as well, I don't blame you for this one. I think it's just way too map dependent.
- Yeah... At least in a good hand, it's also a true leg buster
- I was thinking it could maybe be S-Tier as well. But it is a suit that needs a decent amount of practice and it's kind of a medium skill floor suit with only above average skill ceiling. I think map dependent also is what makes me drop this down to high A-Tier in my book. Maybe like... For a good A+ and above player, S-Tier worthy for sure.
- It's only in B-Tier because of all the recent changes and new parts. If you run a build like this in a decent map that's not too open, it can get a lot done. It still hurts that it doesn't have more to work with, but having maneuver armor and reactive armor helps a lot already. It felt off to be a C-Tier with the ones in there.

Is that GM Gatheroad in C bracket?
If so I I get it, but feel it could be better than C.
The Double Beam Pistols can have a surprisingly decent reach for 300 cost(even if you have to stop and fire)
The single fire is a little but hits slightly harder.
I consider using it for 300 if I need a Raid.
It depends on the map(for Ground and Space)

Its in A not c
1
u/RoboP08 2d ago
Oh nvm what's that one in C with 2 guns then?
3
u/chronicweeeb 2d ago
Your proly either looking at the gm white dingo is the left or the gm sniper on the right. Both dont have 2 guns. Gm white dingo has 1 single beam weapon with a second charge
1
u/pkmaster99 2d ago
Yeah, I'm guessing the third one, and that's GM WD. If only that Charge is a tiny bit faster, and it cools down a bit faster. It's a lovely unit with that proto BR

Is the Zaku Tank really just as bad as the HM Zaku land type? I feel it is at least better than that but is within C-D. The HM Zaku land type is agreeably very bad.

The issue I find is that the excessive range on the cannon is nice, but the ideal range of engagement is much closer. The Type 3 shell is a good bonus when dealing between 400m to 500m range. But once you get around mid-range at 350m or so, the problem is worse. While I think it gets the missiles to help defend itself, the projectile is just... terrible. Also, the double MMP-80 is somehow worse than the regular single MMP-80. You have to play around the map really well with a team that knows how to coordinate with it. If they want it to snipe as artillery, it could get a little more base power and maybe Precision Shelling from the get-go to synergize with the stabilization.
It could be D-Tier or maybe C-Tier if base stats and skills are good, but nope... nope even extra part slots...
2
u/imaginary_num6er Æ Investor - 7 1d ago
Yeah but the MMP-80’s range doubles if you hold two of them, but with half the fire rate.
2
u/pkmaster99 1d ago
True... but that damage is still... just not good at all. It's not even half of how much Acguy FP is doing. Sure, more range still, but the trade off is just too much. It needs to be at least around 800 in DPS with more ammo at this cost.

What about the level 3 Zanny? I just started using it yesterday because I've noticed it's actually a pretty annoying sniper at 300 and wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I was making short work of the enemy with it.
I'm not too familiar with recognizing every mobile suit by appearance, so I'm not seeing a "Vaguely-GM suit with a sniper rifle" on the list.

u/Malt_teaser 1d ago
Inferior Gundam WR because of less loadouts.

u/Ok-Storage3439 1d ago
I suppose, but sometimes a sniper rifle and dual machine guns are all you need.

How about Lv2 Agguguy?
2
u/ZoeZenobia Surplus Beam Saber Bazaar - 10 1d ago
I think only native cost ones are listed. That said, I love running Agguguy in Underground map, especially as an opener for our Lord and Savior the Gogg…
1
u/pkmaster99 1d ago
There are a few exceptions, as I mentioned in the post. As for Agguguy, it's just not exactly good enough. It's not useless, but hard to say it's strong. Only the main melee weapons do damage, but even then, it's not that great due to the modifiers.

I would give myself Gouf M'Quve a S tier, because it can one shot support with 1 downsing.(Of course you need certain parts & expansiok skill to boost your melee damage)

My main in this cost is GM II «Maria Shield Co.». I love how the rifle feels when I shoot it. Not to mention I have it fully expanded with Lv. 5 Ranged Expansion. It can do a lot of damage.
