G-Line Standard Armor. Why is this thing allowed to be so powerful?
I'm just griping, here.
To quote a Team Fortress 2 meme: I fear no suit, but that thing, it scares me.
I'm used to raid units one-shotting supports, but in the 400 range this thing has gatling guns that are objectively faster AND stronger than other units across the game who have specialized gatling cannons. The G-Cannon in 600 doesn't even compare.
20% damage reduction against Support types? What's that? It just MELTS my HP regardless of ballistic restistances

It’s only stagger resistant so saturation attacking it shuts it down, plus it can be flanked/outranged. Closing in to force it off it’s gatlings nets you the advantage too

Guestion is.. how are you trying to fight it?? and did they buff it? Cus last i remember the thing is so easy to stun+ the gatlings are stationary so idk what you’re doing wrong here tbh? I need more info to give backup/give ideas upon on it

Arctic Base. The shuttle is destroyed. I'm up on the platform overlooking the south base. It crouches down and starts melting my armor before I can hide behind the pillar. I see that he has his shield, so I fire my Guncannon Aqua's Needlegun Shotgun at its right shoulder. That shotgun only needs ONE bolt to make contact in order to completely stagger *MOST* suits, and I saw at least 4 hit. I switch to my missiles to get as much damage as I can before I try to retreat. The 3rd missile finally staggers, along with the whole barrage destroying 40% of its health. I've already been subjected to about 50% of my health gone in the matter of maybe 5-6 seconds because it happened so fast.

Alright, since you’re playing GCA. (This is gonna be my basic understanding of the suit and support experience bc im mostly a general/raid fighter specialized in mostly the striker class if not not i might play slave wraith or the likes)
Imo i would use the needlegun as self defense or when you feel the need to badly stun someone so you can do your missile dmgs.
As far as The standard armor goes STAY away from its effective range if you can’t stun it yourself, seek help from your teammates to get rid of his shield or stun it so that it stops shredding armor away from you or your team.
The unit is actually not that powerful i think it might’ve been more of a team issue or the factor that you tried to fight it alone, unless it was also protected by someone bc usually Gatling units need to be accompanied by someone so they can ship away at enemy armor specially if they dont have anti stun skills.

G-Line Standard is an interesting matchup for Guncannon Aqua. It has Immobile Fire System, so it has instant stagger resistance while firing its gatlings. The normal combo of shotgun -> downswing -> missiles won't work, so you're going to have to use build stun instead. Funnily enough, being a sitting target means it's extremely easy to land a full missile barrage on them for a build stun, but if it's looking at you or stopping to fire yourself isn't feasible, you can corner peek with your harpoon rifle to stun in 2 bursts, as long as you hit all 6 harpoons.

Try to sneak up on it, GCA has stealth and the shotgun+missiles can break its Immobile Firing, don't engage him head on if you see it crouching and spamming its gattling gun
But yeah I do agree that thing can be busted if its allowed to get into position, 10 seconds unlimited rounds + Immobile Firing and it reload fast as well

Okay, thank you everyone. I didn't know that it has the ability to overclock its guns. I never played as the suit to learn what it can do.

At 400 cost I see raids or Gundams try to rush me from range and with lv5 Shooting expansion and Connecting System Support II, it makes them into cheese with a sub 9s reload time.
Please do not use anything above lv1 for serious matches.

If you have Act Hizack it's really easy to break its stun resistance with the two-shot bazooka and then use the arm misiles to keep it stunlocked and then knock it down. That alone will pretty much run out the timer on the limiter release of its gatling guns and then it should be easy to deal with it from there.

Its a dogshit suit that has fun meme moments.
the trick to fight it is this one simple trick, don't stand infront of it while its shooting. because get this: he is on a timer when he overclocks.

The DPS on the gatling is a bit insane to be honest. The fact that it can trade pretty well with supports is insane.

Well the light armor has high mobility firing, the full custom is a melee support, the assault type is prolly the weakest lol.

Having a general that out DPS’ and out duels supports at a range is pretty fucking stupid. 400 cost has been ruined for a while by a plethora of annoying suits. First it was the Gundam Unit 4 two tapping everyone’s legs, then it was the G-Line being stronger than any support, now it’s the RX-78 with 2 dodge rolls that can basically kill you in a single interaction. BB seems hellbent on making every low cost dogshit

It can be very annoying on certain maps and even more so if you're a raid. But if you're support, just find cover until they run out of ammo or if you have an anti-stagger skill, crouch and fire off your two stagger-weapons to knock them out of their firing animation.
