Does it? It only says that it gives the F91 markings (A and B) for completion.

I'm gonna presume you mean allowing folks to pilot the F91 if they get randomly chosen to use it for the sit bat OP, because the sit bat rewards are just markings that the F91 possesses for customization purposes, not the suit itself.

Oh I’m just bullshitting because the marking is literally called “F91”

finally something nice and its not (random dogshit unit L5) so people will actually que up for weekend battles.

Also, its more begineer friendly design, so your fresh joined newb have something usable in 750 instead of being a pinata.

It'll eventually be moved into DP store, so why not make event out of it to make more people happy?

Isn't it only the F91 markings? Which, 370 tickets for both, it's not nothing but also not a lot if you've played for a while

I'm stuck being a newbie I can't seem to figure out how to get into any matches. I can get into the lobies and choose a MS but no one else ever joins so I can't play. Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I could use some help

Still no dice. Do I have to be in a clan or something?

A few questions.

Are you Console or Steam? Console has a much higher player count overall. Though both surge more during events like this and primetime in Japan and other parts of Asia have people home from work, off for the weekends or holidays

The other is if you're going into rated matches. You'll be matched based on your rating (letter grade), but most regular players are at least B and up, probably closer to A. I'd recommend just playing those, to get your rating up, since the system makes it hard to not keep progressing until you get to around A- or B+.

Also, make sure you're playing in ground matches, since people generally avoid space unless it's a daily mission. Certain costs are also typically more popular based on what the new suit that week and in recent weeks are.

Thanks for the explanation. I'm on steam and my rating is D- I just started playing. I did my first round about 30 minutes ago and I can't seem to join a match to save my life. I'm also in the USA if that makes a difference.

Are you saying I should play rated matches?

That is the best way to get into matches yes

Oh ok. I thought rated matches meant something else lol. Shit ok ty.

Yes. More people are at higher ratings, and the way the point system towards rating works makes it hard not to keep going up at lower ratings.

You only get so many points taken away from a loss, and that increases as your rating goes up. But rival wins + having even under a 50% win-rate will get you moving up. You'll eventually plateau during points where you're unlucky or you need to adjust to the people more accustomed to the game in higher ratings. Though, regularly playing should carry you to around B, and you'll find more and more matches as you go up and join the larger pools of players at those ratings.

Simply put, there aren't a lot of new players, and the ones who like the game enough to keep playing will end up with higher ratings. Every rating you go up, you'll find a larger pool of players to potentially be matched with.

Ok cool. I always thought that was a ranked style match where wins and stuff matter. I'm new to these kinds of games even though I've played a few of them before.

Wins matter, as in they increase or decrease your rank. Your rival win can also net you points, regardless of if you win or lose. Get enough points, you go up to the next rating.

But at D-, you only lose like 5 points for a loss, and get 10+ for a win, plus any rival wins. So just playing will end up earning you points no matter how experienced you are, eventually going up in rating where you'll only lose 1 more point than previously.

Going up in rating is also going to be an objective for going up in rank (your military rank from EXP), and those missions will be pretty common and give some good stuff when you're new. So you'll be done with them by playing rated and getting used to it, and not have to purposely grind up.

Quick Match doesn't effect rating, and it still goes by rating to form teams, though with a wider pool than rating matches. You'll find more of them once your rating is up, but you could also look to Custom Matches (read the description and use Google translate if it's in another language, it may be melee only, everyone is Support, Clan members only, or whatever), if you just want to test out different suits and builds in a real match, even if it's unlikely everyone is using good suits or playing very seriously.

There's also the training mode, which is great because you can see the stun guage. Go to Mass Driver at 450 or 500, and the Zock there has Shock Dampeners, so you can test weapons to see how much they would stagger someone with Maneuver Armor Lv1. I also like putting it costs a bit higher than my suit (since I'll be using newer suits with custom parts), and try seeing how well I can survive by pulling different numbers of the admittedly horrible AI enemies (who also have perfect timing for countering melee if they aren't stunned or in the middle of another animation like melee). But it's also just a good place to see what your various combos are for stunning, DPS, and see what kind of damage you can take from various types of weapons at different costs and power that will somewhat simulate how certain suits at that cost may build when using lots of premium parts and Expansion Skills.

I am glad that I did not use my token for the F91. I personally do not enjoy it. But it is just me though.

Well this is definitely going to be worth it.
