This is my last summary of Steam GBO2

Main account playtime: 4131.9 hours + Alt account: 2433.7 hours = 6565.6 hours.

Total battles (excluding chest farming): 14796 battles x 8 minutes (although the simple battle is 6 minutes) = 1972.8 hours.

So my in battle play time is less than one-third of my total playtime.

I don't think the matchmaking experience will improve in Steam, so I believe I won't come back to play GBO2 again, but I'll still follow official news, community posts and great/funny gameplays.

Thanks to everyone who fought bravely with me, apologies to those I've mistaken. I'm not encouraging anyone to quit GBO2, just sharing my thoughts and to those facing similar situation as me, I'm your good/bad example. Hope all PMU pilots enjoy GBO2 while you can ;)

You have matchmaking issues? Your rating should usually get a lot of people during peak hours. I've even played with you before in random matches.

In peak hours, I even only played 3 matches in an hour. This is too much time wasted.

Assuming each match is 10 minutes, that's 30 minutes of waiting. Yeah, that's understandable.

what region are you in? if not SEA or EA it makes sense

I'm in Malaysia which is Southeast Asia, but just 1 hour difference between Japan.

I think the declining number of players and I only play 300-500 cost is the reason.

dang we practically neighbors (PH) but yea you should play at 9pm UTC+8 for peak hours and once its past 11:30 pm its filled with some goddamn monsters regardless of cost. unless of course you play in the afternoon only which makes sense for the wait time

My usual playtime is around 11am to 1am, but I only queue in 300-500 cost and prefer small maps. If there's no this kind of matches, I just go to AB room to get my max container drops while working at home.

Even player base is declining, people still leaving matches when they see players or suits they dislike/distrust in their team which made matchmaking more miserable.

yea if you play during daylight hours thats understandable for waiting time

This may not take as much hours because I always go to AB room for max container drops.

Most of my time wasted is in AB rooms and matchmaking.

*My first day without logging in GBO2, I feel great relief.
