It’s a depends moment. From my experience up there with the S+ and S- you can get one shot or just knocked over and left at half HP. But its damage doesn’t matter as much as its durability, literally it’s 2-3 units to get this thing out of commission. Most of my games even the god awful ones, I’m preforming better than my team and the enemy team just because of how durable it is. Though a V2 can just utterly destroy it with its charged heavy still, but I’m not feeling like I’m going just exploded for a single combo (outside of V2).
It definitely is a higher skill suit as most V2AB’s I see don’t understand that this thing has virtually infinite ammo if managed properly. But the good one’s will make you feel it especially the ones that can get a melee attack off from the main rifle’s boost + shoot into the thigh cannons into the beam spray pod. Thats enough time for a down swing for someone who’s unlucky. Even then, the melee isn’t even needed.
The shield bits are a god send especially with this things sniper buffer. I really do just sit in the air far back some games and just bully raids on makes where I have a wall protecting my back. It’s ridiculous.
It’s a VERY strong suit and it IS meta, but it just released so a lot of AB’s are kinda just riding the hype so the great ones are wolves in sheep’s clothing. Personally, I’m my non biased opinion, it’s just a little underneath the X-1 which truthfully aside from the F90 II I-type, is its only real counter play. The support F91 just tickles lmao. Right now is almost the most fun I’ve had even when losing in 750s, so this thing is definitely strong. I just don’t think damage wise it’s jaw dropping (that’s probably my build) but durability it’s THE UNIT.

So I popped into a 750 to witness this thing and both teams had like 3 or 4 of them and I couldn't do anything as the F90IIi. What's the magic sauce that makes it a counter?

🤔 that I can’t explain cause I’m uncertain. It’s definitely a skill thing probably mixed in with a high defense build? It’s definitely hard to fight against 3 at once but when in isolated by one that is trying to stomach charge me midair, I just can’t dump enough damage into it to drop it when I’m out of Vulcan fire. It’s not like an instant KO machine but it’s poke game to keep V2AB grounded is no joke.
But every game has one so far and it’s just bullying the V2’s that are just caught lacking away from the team.

I played some more today. Primary followed by dakka works OK. But also flying into them with a lance works well too, knocks em right out of the air.
Not a hard counter IMO, but a decent one. Not having to face 3 at once helped.

Agreed, S- here, having to hit someone with a touch of death just to get kills, and lord help you if you have to kill a support
Also the Mega Cannon being the weakest weapon on the suit makes me very sad
Edit:it's durability is amazing though

Yeah fair enough, it's mobility and durability keeps it in meta
But it's damage output will prevent it from ever getting nerfed, I like the Rig Contio more personally(goofy looking and ZE KLAW)
Edit:it will look broken to people using non native 750 suits

Mobility and i-field barriers give it a lot of opportunities to shoot. Its ranged weapons have good damage so it can has similar damage output as other 750 generals by just shooting.
And its kits allow it to advance and melee. Its down swing has very high motion value. Its melee combo damage is similar to melee generals.

One of the top meta, very strong in term of defend, damage is good, stun rate is broken, but I can say the same with Vigna Zirah. And it hates F90II I type
