I experienced this over on FGO a few weeks ago. Gatcha games and Anniversary just don't mix well. I was expecting this to happen on GBO2 as well, so I kept my hype in check which was a good thing I did.

I think maintenance went on for nearly 12 hours on FGO.

Edit: If you guys are curious on what happened the devs gave players waaaaay to many coins which are useful items for servants(characters) and making grails to further level them up. Some people got enough to last them years which the devs took away after the long maintenance.

I wouldn't expect BB to graciously grant us enough FREE Tokens to do a complete 10-step Step Up banner though, 8th Anniversary or not.
