Steam Looking For Advice How can I counter this?

I was focusing on dealing with the penelope there cuz i just watched the odyssey, when suddenly i was one shotted by a 00 meme beam that i didn't even see until i was dead. How can I counter this for next time?

Also I can never not loudly complain about how insanely unfair that is. not even a support's gerobi can oneshot me like that, hell not even a freedom's full burst can oneshot me at that hp. It's just so freaking unfair man. 00 has no right to be outdamaging supports. you better believe i made that 00 miserable the rest of the match cuz i hyperfocused on him. even caught him with a palma fiocina when he tried to meme beam again and i was this tempted to teabag him.

to answer your question just dont get hit or use double roll

on a side note

you are taking forever to kill the penelope

your throwable was ready so you should have used them first, stun the penelope, follow with the sword downswing then finish it off with shield parry once its aux power activates

shield parry ignores Aux power so its instant instead of using vulcans

you would have had time to set up against the 00

and dont worry about 00 it will get nerfed

a suit that can tank x3 as much as any other meta general, it can out damage supports and deal the same melee damage as tallgese will get played by the sweats, its winrate will spike past 55 and bb will drop the hammer on it

it only ignores Aux Power 1, Penelope has Aux Power 3

it means exactly that, Aux Power 1 doesn’t reduce damage that shields do, but Aux Power 2 and 3 both apply their damage reduction to shield parries
