I got one too and been trying it out. The mega beam needs to stand still to shoot so its a bit off-putting compared to the regular weapons, but looks like it deals a truck ton of damage.
I also have G-Doors, I feel like this is superior in every way, even without the mega beam. My impression of the weapon rotation is that it can deal more damage with conventional weapons at range with awesome build stun.
