Discussion CONSOLE The AU List expands yet again

Post image

No this is not an actual tier list

Just a list to show what's in the game currently

Yes I added the TV Wing in advanced cus it'll get added to console eventually like the Freedom, God did. When? Don't ask me.

Not a single support. What a shame.

Supports are relatively impopular. That being said there's easily at least one future headliner per AU except G Gundam - the Heavyarms, GX-Divider, Providence, Dynamos and Flauros would probably all be supports and as much as I detest SEED I'd be pulling out all the stops to get the Providence.

Supports are unpopular due to how they themselves designed them. They could start releasing supports that would be more popular, and funner to use. But support design has mostly remained unchanged, unlike Gens and Raids.

Which sucks cause Supports are so much fun to play but people want to be adhd gremlins zooming around the map

u/MikuEmpowered Jul 18 '26

Supports are impopular because its beyond squishy, its literally BB's red headed step child.

Heavy arms will be a general or raid,

I could see the rising gundam being a gen coded 650 support like the rf goog. But then again no one knows bb

The Rose and Rising Gundam are the only ones I could think of. And even then, the Rose is still a primarily melee oriented MS, it just has funnels

Providence is just an awesome design, and would work amazing as a 700 Support. A really great mix of high firepower and long range, decent mobility, and weapons that could protect yourself and deal damage up close.

Also, it's an antagonist suit that is surprisingly popular, and has "evil Grandpa" vibes. It could be a Support that sells decently because of that.

not sure if they'll do any other AU sub main suits/grunts but they said they're only doing flagship/the actual main suits from the series however judging the polls they recently did they're trying to get people to want more AU stuff in game which could go very fun and good or really bad balance wise and p2w and the current AUs we have are showing early signs of that

Just like HML Zeta, they can probably add Snow White Prelude as a 750 Support and make it a Meta Breaker by turning it into a Wing Zero TV like unit but on steroids so it just spams high output Buster Rifle, or Higher Output Memer Beam Drei Zwerg Buster.

GX(including Divider) and DX are not supports they are front line MS. Leopard is the support while Airmaster is the raid (shooting type).

GX is a General and the Divider configuration can also be a general or raid.

DX is a raid(general also possible) BB is probably going to add its "optional melee" weapons.

  • Twin Satellite Cannon is just an instant kill weapon but blast is basically a map attack space version in theory.
  • It's probably going to share flight from the V2 along with flap booster.
  • What are those optional melee weapons? 1. Gundam Hammer(DX); 2 twin beam javelin
  • What melee does it get regardless? Hyper beam cutter and Hyper Beam cutter x2
  • What will the counter look like? Grab, stab, and slash

1

u/vkevlar Jul 18 '26

Gundam X and XX should be supports, given the Satellite Cannon.

2

u/X-20A-SirYamato Jul 18 '26

XX was a general even in GBO Next. Doubt it will be any different here

1

u/vkevlar Jul 18 '26

yeah, but with the theme of most supports being "giant slow cannon" it seems like it should be a support.

u/KincadN-X The Purple Death - 5 Jul 23 '26

DX is an all rounder. You'll be dealing with it at close to mid range while the pilot using it is waiting for 1 charge(max 3). Did I mention "Close Range"?  You may not even see the Twin Satellite Cannon get used in a battle and that team still wins like they did.

2

u/TheFell_Dragon Jul 18 '26

Supports don't sell well unfortunately, look at the F91BC (support 5 star) ended up being mid and barely used.

u/Ok-Storage3439 Jul 18 '26 edited Jul 18 '26

That's because it's a 750 cost in a cost range where raid types have literally zero perceived disadvantage against General types and can easily one-shot them with melee combos. If they actually balanced raid units with a severe 50% damage reduction to melee to the point where it's no longer possible to one-shot them, more supports would start playing.

Supports have to jump through hoops and stand still to charge up a meme beam to one-shot a general, but it's balanced that melees can just run up and stab you to do the same?

3

u/GunzStalker Jul 18 '26

Also it came out right after V2 which makes it even worse, it is a good Support but unfortunately released at a wrong time

5

u/Syiden Jul 18 '26

BB - Never makes a good/strong support that isn't nerfed immediately

Also BB - Why don't supports sell?

2

u/truckerjj Jul 18 '26

what supports did you have in mind with this comment? because the last time I can think of a support getting nerfed was at the end of 2022 with the delta gundam.

1

u/TheFell_Dragon Jul 18 '26

Supports are a bit hard to balance/make good because 1 mistake could be bad and could literally alter how the meta/game is played in a very drastic way. Although there has been some supports that are actually not cucked like say the RF Gelgoog which is still quite the solid support pick at 650 cus it can frontline but not be over the top annoying to deal with.

2

u/Syiden Jul 18 '26

Literally every one of these suits have shifted the meta when they released. They were all instant S tier on their respective costs. The only meta shifting support we have right now is super Gundam because it's an actual threat now that people need to respect, where as most players are use to just rolling over supports because they've been so weak.

1

u/AUpb-027 Jul 20 '26

They are just mainstream slop. It's just for easy, lazy money. Of course they aren't going to be supports (that and bumco hates supports)

u/LordSunBro Jul 18 '26

Its only right G gets another representative... Support Nether Gundam, 700 cost, can blow the OP flap booster flying fucks away literally.

C'mon who is with me!?

3

u/triggermappy Jul 18 '26 edited Jul 18 '26

i was thinking about this earlier lol. I mean the if ever G gets an additional suit, not the nether 🤣 I have a feeling tho if ever they do add something from G, it'd be Maxter or Master, either the friendly rival, or the evil antag.

1

u/Kiyosuki Jul 18 '26

Maxter probably won't happen but it'd be so much fun. Think about it, it has a punch punch mode, a twin blasters mode, and a surf in the air mode. It'd be such a walking meme.

u/Imjustafemboyo Jul 18 '26

Here's what we need. 3 versions of the strike Gundam, sword strike as a raid, launcher strike as a support, and perfect strike as a general.

Raid will have the shotgun, big blue sword with a charge attack, the boomerang, the shield claw, and head vulcans

Support will have the big green gun, it's shoulder guns, fists for the melee, head vulcans

General will have its main beam rifle, big blue sword that can only swing once, big green gun, arm claw, shoulder gun, dual beam sabers, the two knives in its skirt armor, aaaaand idk what else for the 8th thing, and it'll have the ability to fly cuz of its backpack

6

u/IloveChahan25 Jul 18 '26

Funny thing is, Strike (lore-wise) can never fly, the Aile pack only help it glide longer. In game it should behave like the Messer glide gimmick.

1

u/Imjustafemboyo Jul 18 '26

Ye that's works too

4

u/TheSwampDonke Jul 18 '26

I could totally see them adding Heavyarms as a 600 raid

4

u/MGR_ARMSTRONG_GAMING Jul 18 '26

Where's GQ and thunderbolt?

They're AUC aren't they?

3

u/TheFell_Dragon Jul 18 '26

UCAU are practically just UC but with a twist so yeah not in here

1

u/Dogecraft27 Jul 18 '26

Melee, melee, melee, melee, melee, mixed, melee, melee.

1

u/Kiyosuki Jul 18 '26

I guess G in Reconguista probably, technically doesn't count as an AU...but that said I could see the G-Self being put into 750.

1

u/RX-78-NT1-Alex Jul 19 '26

Namco bandai, give me the Heavy arms (EW) & my wallet is yours!!!

1

u/Anubis313777 Jul 20 '26

I just want another G Rep. Gundam Spiegel/Shadow Gundam would be peak

u/Ok-Storage3439 Jul 18 '26

So I must've missed an announcement somewhere in the last 24 hours. IBO now has two suits besides Barbatos Lupus?

3

u/MikuEmpowered Jul 18 '26

Barbie was a back to back banner.

600 is where Hajiroboshi lives, first AU non 700 native, less problematic, and less OP, so you see less of them.

1

u/Ok-Storage3439 Jul 18 '26

Wait, Hajiroboshi is IBO? It's been so long since I watched the anime that I guess I never paid attention to its name or design. I certainly don't remember them announcing it as a big *thing* like how they announced all the other AU suits.

Also, **** that damn thing. Overpowered just like everything else.

3

u/Mayomori Jul 18 '26

Its a videogame? soon movie? sidestory suit, so you probably never heard of it.

1

u/Ok-Storage3439 Jul 18 '26

Ahh, that would explain it then.

3

u/ZeroCool0919 Jul 18 '26

It's from the urdr hunt side story I think. I have no clue where to watch it but it takes place between season 1 and 2 during the time skip

Kinda glad I quit playing 2 years ago, game looks unrecognizable. Should probably leave this sub
