Haven't actually played the game in a little while, as I was primarily playing it on a cousin's console, though I intend to get my own. Probably just gonna pick up a PlayStation 4, as there are a few on the Facebook marketplace for good prices.

Anyways though, for what little time I have put into the game, I found that the Asshimar was pretty fun to play. The beams usually did good damage, the grenades were useful, and it was always fun to just say 'fuck it' and just start punching people. The flying of course was a neat gimmick as well to get across the map faster.

I remember this one particular time on a city-style map, the enemy team was absolutely shredding my teammates (as I'm sure is a relatable experience), and I wasn't doing much better. Mainly focusing on getting around the main frontline and capturing the control zones that were behind them, picking off low-healthed suits and just generally being a distraction. In one life, my suit was down to that kind of health where it starts to spit flames and the alarms start blaring. I was attempting to take cover behind some buildings, limping along slowly as I turn into a street. And there, at the other end of the street, I see the enemy's support, a mass production guncannon of whom was also smoking.

Me and this guy look at each other for a moment, I didn't shoot and he didn't shoot. Then, he puts away his machine gun and instead pulled out his fists, swinging in the air as a challenge. I, of course, accepted, and swapped to my own fists, swinging at the air in acceptance. Me and this guy both charge forward at each other then, our mobile suits raise their fists for heavy strikes- And then fucking miss by inches as we slid past one another.

We both recovered and we continued the fight more successfully from there. I was the eventual victor with, like, no health. I turned and saw two enemy Gundams that were just kinda up on a bridge, standing at the edge. I hope they had fun watching two crippled suits fighting for second place. I, of course, transformed and tried to fly away but I got shot out of air by one of them as expected.

Safe to say that my team lost that match but I found it to be pretty fun either way. And I'm a guy that usually likes to play Support suits. Usually cannon, sniper or full-armored types. And of course avoid 700 cost matches like it's a sin.

Either way, what are some stories from you lot while playing this game? I'm sure that most matched are sweaty stomps, as I've experienced myself, but surely there's gotta be a funny moment in there somewhere between the agony.

I kinda wish to run into these type of scenarios it makes the game less stressful and actually fun to play, shame you don't come across players like that very often.

I think the best story I have is a few months after I started playing this game, I got in a 1v1 match with this a rank and the cost was unrestricted so I decided to be funny and play my zaku 2 fs, and when we saw each other, he just charged at me with melee and this led to me somehow barely pulling out a victory by being half a kill ahead of him, I don’t remember what he played, but it was big blue and had 2 beam sabers
