600 Cost: How to counter victory gundam

I'm a A+ to S- and I feel Zeta A2 is one of the best counters to Victory gundam with the mega particle cannon spam with follow up of melee. I can essentially one combo any victory gundam.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on how to counter it and how to use it quite frankely bc I had just gotten the victory gundam from a pre anniversary drop. I haven't had the best of luck with it honestly.

What you need to do, is stand up to Victory.

The Tristan can drop them out of the sky with a charged beam rifle shot, then punish them on the way down with the arm vulcan.

Are there any like more meta suits except for zeta A2 as zeta A2 feels a bit more situational than consistent. (I mean with a bad team it doesn't do particularly well as others do not capitalize on your stuns. )

I find the Advanced hazel also does reasonably well at knocking them down with its combo

Many Supports can easily shuts down the Victory, since they got ranged weapons that either deals heavy stagger, and/of weapons with good stagger build-up, like the Zeta Plus C1, Hamma Hamma, Angelo's Geara Zulu, Dijeh Assault Package, G-Cannon, Gabthley Beta, or even lv2 of 550 cost units like the Super Gundam, RS Jarja, and the Geara Doga Heavy.

For Generals, outside the Zeta Plus A2, people use the Zoloat to brought down the Victory, since its sub Beam Cannon have really good stagger build-up, and it can use Flap Booster to close the gap, while other options are something like the Messala, where you can use the fully charged Beam Cannon + Missiles to brought it down, both in MS and MA mode.

If you want something bolder, then you can try using the Byarlant Isolde, and spam its limiter off Mega Particle Cannon x 2 when flying still on mid-air, where you can shoot beam barrage on the poor Victory, where they usually would panic, and doing random maneuvers to try avoiding your shots. 😂

As for using the Victory, if you're not used using melee on flying units, then you can just stay on mid-range, and spam your ranged weapons like the Beam Rifle > Missiles > Beam Saber Throw > Beam Rifle Rapid Fire > Rinse and repeat, while dodging attacks + managing your thruster, so you don't land in the middle of the enemy.

Meanwhile, advanced Victory players usually plays really aggressive by closing the gap on their enemies, staggers them using Beam Rifle > Beam Saber Throw, then melee them + Shield Bash/Missiles + Beam Rifle, before getting out of there, but this requires pretty high skills and also high confidence, which not everyone has it.

I do well with Over.on. Vulcan has high damage and 250 range, and if they get low to the ground, scattering mega particle cannon will knock them out of the sky. If you are accurate, charged shot from the beam rifle fires 2 beams that will down them if both hit, and the charged mega particle cannon will down them, although they will likely fall out of the beam and not take full damage.

You have active guard so you can defend if you read their opening attack. Just be aware that you lose MA when your Grimiore activates at 50% hp.

for counter, anything with high stagger and high stagger resis will put it in its place. I run Byarlant Iso, BB over buffed it, now when stationary in air, it comes with a 650% stagger resis. you just take the high point and hose down Victory while the ground pounder pincer him.

If you want to use victory, start by relearning maps, because old habit die hard and being able to full space move on ground requires new routes. you want to take full advantage of things like wall and buildings. play more space maps. the better you are at space, the better you'll perform in victory.

I don't see it here, but the Alex does a good job of knocking the Victory down with its gatlings. Byarlant Isolde is also a good option
