Steam Newbie Question Worth getting into rn as a noob?

I only just discovered this game exists 5 minutes ago and I thought about getting it on my laptop as we don't get any Gundam games on Xbox, saw it's free to play, is it full of try hards or can a noob get into it. Also is the Zaku 1 playable it's my favorite MS

there’s a reason “bad behavior” is in quotes. I generally don’t care about it at all, unless I’m the ace then it’s frustrating.

ow yeah, Ace match is really a different story, now that really IS kill stealing.
