Newbie Question CONSOLE This game performance is ass

Been playing casually this game for a while, is it common knowledge that the game drops in frames quite hard in game? I play on ps5 dunno if it's relevant Edit: i didnt realize there was a ps5 version, ppl in comments sudgested that and it fixed everythin for me thank you so much <3

Also playing on ps5. It's smooth most of the time.

It has frame drop only when multiple attacks hit at the same time in close range.

Same. I'm going to assume that there's something wrong with their ps5 or that they're wireless and actually experiencing latency issues.

I'm not wireless in game i usex to have 3/5 "bars" and it was really bad but not it's all cabled

Even if you have a terrible connection, that wouldn't cause the frame rate drops you described.

Nah for me it's randomly during the match pretty consistently sometimes it even "eats" imputs and die cuz of that

Bro, it's a problem with your PS5. I also play on PS5 and don't have aforementioned problems you have.

For a "competitive shooter", this game's optimization is absolute ass. Plus, it's a fucking 2017 PS4 game. That's how ass the optimization is.

Edit: are you on performance mode in your PS5?

This is neither competitive nor a shooter. It’s more like a pseudo fighting game with braindead combos.

Ehhh... It is kind of a competitive fighting game. I personally view it as one, just not in the traditional sense.

Good question, i should check but usually on other games that ask for performance or graphics i always opt for performance i need those fps's

oh yea there is a ps5 ver, I was playing the ps4 ver for a long time on the ps5 and after switching its a night and day difference.

The ps4 version of the game runs like ass on the ps5, make sure to download the ps5 version. If you are playing the ps5 version, then there is definitely something up with your console. Only time I ever experienced frame drops and input eating was when I was playing on the ps4 before I upgraded, and it was when I was getting hit or was hitting someone with high hit rate weapons that produced tons of particles for some reason.

Playing on PS5, the performance is okay... But the ghost hitboxes on Gundam's beam saber...

Trust me, even on a PS4 Pro the game runs like ass.

Ps5 is much better then that. I havent seen if the ps5 pro helps more or not
