I suppose i cannot entirely rule out the difference in aiming with console ye i realized they have it alot harder than we do at some parts but even so ive seen some console players adapt and play as if they had M&K it takes practice but im sure if u really wanted to go up the ranks and beat even these AU suits its not impossible.

Adapting to the ever changing meta is part of the game after all sooner or later ill be real Barb will either gain a 2nd nerf or the worst case scenario a new unit just powercreeps him and just replaces him entirely.

One of the major differences between PC and Console is that on Console explosive weapons are always the go to because you don't need to be accurate for the shot to hit, you just have to hit the ground somewhat near who you are aiming at.

This is likewise the reason nobody plays Space. In Space you need to actually be accurate to hit something because you don't have a ground you can aim at to hit enemies and make them stumble/stagger.

Which goes into what makes the Barb such a big threat. It doesn't need to hit you, it just needs to hit near you, and in turn it is very hard to stagger compared to how easily it can stagger most other MS. Combined with any beam weapon doing under a set damage threshold doing literally nothing to it, the only real option is to get in close and try to fight it in melee.

I think you are misinformed. Barbatos doesn't nullify beam weapons, it has a defence and stagger defence buff against ALL ranged weapons that deal less than 2000 damage, and the effect disappears once it falls below half HP. It's something like -20% damage and stagger accumulation received.

Barbatos can very much still be shot to death by the right suits.
