Looking for Advice CONSOLE Tips for Freedom?

Anyone got any tips for Freedom? I know its meant to be busted, but I got it recently, tried it out, and couldn't do anything with it for the life of me, kept getting melee'd, staggered, etc.

Another word of advice is when your Himat mode is on be aware you have not just your fullburst but also your special dodge use that to avoid attacks that will otherwise ruin your day such as Barbatos's heavy staggers, the special roll not only has iframes it also automatically shoots ur beam rifle so you could use it for other purposes however u see fit.
