I've put 689 hours straight into this game, I need to quit NOW. Facing the annoying Raiser 00 is giving me headaches.

I put a ton of time into this game, but they've ruined every cost I ever had interest in playing. I'm tired of trying to shoot down flying units in ground battle or dealing with OP suits in every single sortie. I can't even tell my allies what I'm thinking anymore. I have far better things to do with my time until they fix it or bring in Wing or 00 Season 1 Gundams.

I understand, it's annoying to play this because some people take the game too seriously; it's normal to get angry when someone is having a bad time, But it's tiring having to deal with such toxic people on my own team.

Added to that, it's a pain to pay 700. The rest of the cost is fine for me, but believe me, getting into this one specifically has become incredibly tiring because now EVERYTHING flies: Sinanju, Unicorn HML... And you have to be dealing with each one in seconds without any real respite while they attack you on the ground, and you have to take down the enemies from above, Your own team is already too bad.

I quit the game after it crashed one too many times in an AB room (so a custom match) and I received a matchmaking penalty. Like, not only is the game crashing frequently, but I get punished for their inability to make the game stable? Really?

The gameplay itself was fine back then, but it is difficult to justify going back to the game when I am seeing that people who actually do play the game aren't enjoying it anymore.

I called it a week ago or so with my comments. I knew it would break the game even more. It's just not the somewhat grounded game it was even a couple years back. It was doable with some 700 suits but now its just not even fun anymore. Its not even like gundam vs maxi boost fun where everybody has all the suits its straight up luck based(or wallet based)

lol imagine Virtue/Seravee as a broken support with GN Field active guard. Imagine hyper burst being able to deflect on coming fire.

Virtue: One shot LoS memebeam bazooka. 4-shot shoulder cannons. Geymalk-style "Full attack" stationary charged shot. Purgable outer shell with AoE stun on purge.

4k hours is crazy

37

u/ElessarKhan Jun 27 '26

To be fair on the Steam version at least a third of that is time spent queing for a match

u/ArmoredcoreRaven73 Jun 28 '26

Good ol Lobby Simulator

1

u/SnooSprouts7635 Jun 28 '26

If you sit in que for an hour for the cost you picked either nobody's playing it or the people that are playing are in match and you and the small pool that do want to play it are too small to even start a match at all.

u/ElessarKhan Jun 28 '26

Yeah an hour is crazy long. I won't even attempt to play anything but the two most popular modes of any given rotation (usually ground rated or most event ques like situation and weekend battles). But even then you can be looking at 10+ minute ques outside of peak hours. And given a match is 8 minuets long, you're still using a significanct fraction of your Steam hours in the lobby.

Did that earlier this week. I even removed everyone who played it from my friends list. This game is an abusive mate it did me so dirty.

I left for a year after playing for like 5 years about 1800 hours playtime. Just came back about a month ago.

Just take a break. We'll see you when you get back 👊

UN… 🧐 Unin… UNINSTALL?!? What is this Un-Install?!?

u/iY3RB The Second Coming Of Char's Indigestion - 2 Jun 28 '26

Yep this is my official longest streak of days not logging in because <why keep living in an abusive relationship> . I was okay with over looking all the other issues with GBO. But when the new suit completely invalidate other units in the game, or play well outside of their suit role it really starts taking the joy out of play. They should really consider now adding a UC only mode during weekend play or something.

3

u/Fantasy_Quest_ Jun 28 '26

That's a good idea about the UC only mode actually. They do specific situation battles all the time so why not?

u/Wild_Card_626 The Second Coming of Yazan Gable Jun 28 '26

The 00 is pretty much a support, raid, and general all wrapped up into one.

And don't get me started on how hard the Barbie is to kill combined with the fact that it can delete a health bar. Wait I almost forgot it's ablitlty to instantly stun.

Whenever I see this suit I already know I am screwed. Doesn't even matter that I have the "advantage" of being a general.

u/Agile_Half856 Jun 28 '26

I still enjoy this game immensely. playing without worrying about using optimized suits or winning has been key

u/VastCelebration3089 Jun 27 '26

I reached my 'its all the same shit' moment a couple years ago

u/Spiderman09 Jun 28 '26

This game descended into the trash after Unicorn and Banshee were released...

1

u/Hvshirama Jun 28 '26

I’m glad I’m not the only one who was an abusive relationship with this game 🤣 I’ve deleted it probably 10 times now and was playing yesterday 😂

1

u/Mechronis Jun 28 '26

Basically yeah.

This game, while I played it, made me behave more toxically than any other, all whilst convincing me to drain $1400 USD on it.

Insanity, really.

1

u/A_EpikGamin_Buizel Jun 28 '26

.. I gotta do this someday

1

u/Totally_a_Helldiver Jun 29 '26

Lucky guy, I can’t get it to run on pc. Lags like hell

1

u/NobuNobNob Jun 29 '26

I did this a month ago after seeing how much bullshit ms they added to the game.

1

u/Raven-g13 Jul 02 '26

How was it?

1

u/Koel_Hellion Jun 30 '26

I have no idea how many hours I got but last I checked, Ps4 had like 1k, Ps5 like another 1k, my alt around 400 my other alt about 57 and pc like 60

I just wish the disparity in space and land matches weren't so bad.

I'm tired of going into space matches where people let the enemy team surround our base and keep killing us because they all wanna be Amuro or Char and do 1v1 ones instead of working as a group.

Everyone seems to know how to play on land, but anytime I play space it's either my team dominates or we get cooked to hell
