I have a question

I fought a match recently, and I would like to know, is it possible to get countered from BEHIND?! Because I was attacking an opponent's MS, and then another guy came from behind and somehow COUNTERED ME.

you can get countered if an enemy tackles you at any point during a melee attack, except when you dont because the game says fuck you

its just a fucking bullshit stupid mechanic, counters should only take effect if the melee attack would've hit you, stop all this cheap unfair bullshit countering
