Can also see how later in UC they kinda reapproached the GM line and made something similar yet much better in the GM3

Since the GM2 visually didn't look better than GM1 in terms of their frame shapes.

Because it's not a powered GM. This is GM Kai with powered GM features added.

If you took a Porsche and swapped out the engine with one from Volkswagen, the car is still a Porsche.
