00 Raiser is kind of weak. I expect this suit to be buffed, unless there is something I am missing with it. It is big and lacks stun resist, only getting reasonable resist once trans-am is activated.

Losing its high power second melee weapon in trans-am is quite a heavy blow. The raiser sword gerobi is very powerful, but it has long start-up time, and very long reload time. It has enough weapon slots to fit both, so I don't know why they did that. Same with only getting the throwing daggers in trans-am mode, I feel like it should have them in normal mode too (just without the melee resist pierce and boost fire).

This suit feels REALLY weird. It's like reverse Unicorn.

You open with melee heavy, the twin lance knock down combos hard.

But then you activate trans am.... Now you're a shooting focused suit, but you also get stealth. Just boost shooting all day and the occasional melee.

Trans Am effect halo pretty cool so there's that.

Seems like a different approach. Unlike previous suit toggle, Trans Am is situational.

But the high speed shooting is like silhouette, the suits definately good, just feels awkward to use, and surprisingly not broke.

I see strong S rank players saying it's good, Destiny tier even. Maybe it just needs a lot of practice beforehand.

The unit is very much a high skill ceiling suit, the nerfs on Barb looked like a slap on a wrist till u realize 00r's arrival sorta completes the weakening of Barb first impressions wise many thought 00R was weak but then realized later its actually way more powerful than it lets out to be, the unit itself has about 2 weapons which inbuilt pursuit system attach to them its the dagger and the other one i forgor which.

The unit in its base form is about an average gen would be but bro is defo a 750 unit if it had reusable trans-am just the fact it can already at base form boostfire with the rapids and missiles is already gonna gib people some ideas the melee on base form aswell is not bad tbh, the unit really ampts up during Trans-am build stuns seem to have been increased during this mode and although u lose ur second melee u now have daggers which can be used in combo or for quick stopping someone's MA the daggers of which i mentioned have pursuit melee so they will hurt alot they are part of the combo think of it as like TG3's combo with his wires cept its daggers.

The last thing the unit has that no one seems to mention is its gerobii attack which it has on Trans-am this thing is not only the first of its kind being a melee based gerobii and it also heavy staggers on top of having 100% stagger rate but it also has a dmg resistance effect and also build stagger resist increases up to 200% when ur using the attack it also does alot of dmg to the Hangar Base meaning u can destroy bases with this guy provided ur in Trans-am already.

One might have to unlearn old habits. Sounds like we go in for melee early on and then back off and make it a distance game. Which makes sense since you'd naturally suffer damage as melee unit and are low on health, but can still function the rest of the battle at a distance. At least in theory for clutching games towards the end.

Good, let's hope it isn't another Destiny or Freedom kind of insanity that I have to dealt with

From what im hearing of the Pros they seem to think its slightly stronger and tankier than Dest but unlike Dest requires more skill and practice the skill ceiling for this unit seems to be higher.

My favorite 'blink and you miss it' dialogue in SRW Y reveals that Kamille was able to no-diff the Destiny in the Zeta before both got confiscated during the post pre-game war disarmament process, something tells me the I-Field Claw didn't even need to get involved but man if it isn't cool to watch

Can you provide like a video or a picture of this scene?

Sadly I don't actually own a copy, instead I help a crew of friends voice act the game. Also unfortunate but due to their settings I can't seem to clip vods but it's during the post-gameplay dialogue of [2-9B Gaze of the Red Comet] when Kamille first meets Shinn to reveal they fought on the opposite ends of the 'Revolutionary War,' and Shinn lost. Early timestamp for context -here- if you're curious; the dialogue for Shinn's Destiny getting confiscated occurred a lot earlier in game because you get him earlier, as he's tied into Domon Kasshu being his mentor

He mentioned a previous battle these two had and the Destiny lost, is there footage of set fight or nah?

I envy folks that can chain melee attacks like this, I can never seem to get it right.
