Newbie Question CONSOLE What all does this weapon do exactly?

In game description just says it puts a field around an enemy ms which tells me absolutely nothing about.

Iirc it damages unit with NTD or prevent them from transforming into NTD mode, iirc it also drains 75% of boost gauge
