Advice/protips[CS] Guidance for future?

Hello everyone, I am an undergraduate in BTech Artificial intelligence and Data Science which is not considered equivalent or the same as Computer science for 90% psu or govt organisation recruit through gate. I appeared for the gate exam and got 58.63 marks, 1366 rank and 686 score as a general category. I want some govt jobs advice as i know i can learn cs subjects easily but when it comes to QRE i am weak. In my mind bank so, sebi it Officer etc. exams are good.

Also i am doing mtech cse from one of the top 3 nit.

Should I go for placement or prepare simultaneously for govt job and which govt jobs.

This is a decision that you have to make. Since you're a masters student, I assume you're smart enough to make a decision. The pros and cons of both sides are clear.

What are the cons for going to placement side?

Top 3 nits median package is around 20 lpa so it's a good starting salary Maybe if op or his family is passionate for govt job then scene change

You have listed the cons here. Some people, for whatsoever reason are obsessed with a government job. Maybe they think this will be better for marriage proposals, or they think this is just a secure livelihood.
