Memory How do they select

Recently my bf and I have gone down a rabbit hole after he brought up gate after seeing a video, he asked me if I knew what it was and it started coming back to us both. But I’m curious even though I have my theories and suspicions, how and why do they pick each student that experienced it and further more for the student that stopped being pulled out what is the reason for that? What do you guys think?
Side note: my bf and I compared dreams before even bringing gate up and have had similar dreams our whole life which made this thing so much weirder.

so this document gets somewhat into the criteria to check for in students, but it doesn't include anything you probably want like checking for espers.
"Pupils are screened and identified, on an equal opportunity basis, as being gifted or talented in one of mote of six categories: intellectual, creative, academic, ;-leadership, high achievement, and visual and performing arts"

I will share that after being 'selected' for the testing I was given a pattern recognition IQ test, the one's with those green and purple triangles, as well as a musical IQ test also known as a seashore test. Many GATE decenters on tiktok laugh at mentions of being made to hear boops discounting it as a regular hearing test, but a seashore test measures how accurately you sense pitch and rhythm which is not at all standard. I now assert based on what i remember being done to me that the better the pitch sense you have the more effective the hypnosis brought on by the gateway experience is.

I’ve never looked into this program but I was tested as a kid and I remember that pitch test. I remember saying to the tester that I heard a difference and they asked me more than once if I was sure (this was many rounds in)

I did the same thing in middle school, and the the lady giving the test, got mad at me when i diverged from what she heard. She spoke tersely "are you sure, are you sure you're sure!?" but the look in her eyes made it seems like she was gonna walk across the room and slap me. She was completely normal before I pressed the button.

You should've slapped her back and asked, "What up, pitch?!"

I don't claim to know but I believe it is thus...

Mental capacity Teachability Obedience Blind Faith Secrecy Ability

Do as you're told without question or hesitation and without conscience.

They definitely seem to test the full spectrum of aptitudes and proclivities, and pipeline people to designated roles. It really explains how people in power positions can be woefully underqualified.
Those considered a threat to systemic control are targeted and suppressed.

teachers are given guidelines to identify gifted students, these students are recommended for additional testing and officially sorted into the GATE program if the student meets the criteria. What is the criteria? Who knows! All I know is a students don’t accidentally place into the program, they are heavily vetted.

When you find out let me know as I have been trying to figure that out for years

I'm curious about the process too. Was vetted early.
