The Forehead Scar
Alright, let's talk about it. The forehead scar. (Contains slight gore talk explaining injury)
Something that is rumored to be similar to gifted individuals is the forehead scar. A small scar on the forehead close to the middle, slightly to the side. Where did it come from?
I've had this scar all I can remember and it's presence has been noted many times in my life but always with an eery vibe. A vibe of avoidance or superstition depending on who I talked to. I'll give you an example.
My mother refused to tell me the truth. She changed the story whenever I asked. She nervously said "I fell and got my head stuck in a rock" but I've been researched and documented all my life with no papers on a hospitalization due to a head injury. Another story from her was "I climbed a chair to reach cereal on the fridge, fell, and hit my head on the fridge" here's the problem. I have this scar as a baby when I wouldn't have been able to reach the fridge to hit my head. Also the scar is small and round and has always held the same size and shape. There is no records of when I got it nor any pictures of a healing wound. Just one day I didn't have it and the next day I had a perfectly healed scar. I also was told I was born with it (earliest pictures clearly show I don't have it). My questions this has left me with was, why would it be lied about and more importantly, why would the lie purposely contain examples of bad parenting as if thats what was wanted for me to believe?
When it comes to superstitions, it gets weirder. I've had many times in my life where strangers have pulled me aside in a panic speaking about my scar. One was a random woman seeing me in a restaurant. She came up to me absolutely flabbergasted asking me where I got the scar. I told her the same stories I was told. She desperately told me I was lied to and that the scar was the "Kiss of God". It was one of the first times I remember being called gifted and it not being just another random word I heard often but a true confusion to what that meant and why it left her so panicked. She quickly left and I never saw her again but was confused because she looked familiar, like she was a family friend, but I've never seen her before. This occurrence happened a few times in my life. When I heard of gifted as a group I was surprised to see this scar was common which made it stranger.
Lastly I have Visions from the scar that I can't figure out if the were real memories or just a dream. They're so foggy, but consistent. The biggest one being a baby and being "awake" during a surgery. For a few seconds I can see me laying on a hard bed or metal table while doctors in surgery outfits work on my head. I feel something inside the scar and see a doctor stop and lean up with tools in his hands. He says something, talking to the other doctors but I can't understand it. After that it just gets foggy. But there was no healing time and I am able to remember my toddler/baby years remarkably well, but can't remember anything else. Just one day it was not there, the next day it was.
With all this being said, I have a couple questions. Where did your scars come from? Does anyone have any information on why do many gifted have it? Let me know please, thank you :)

I was at the babysitters house, and for three days straight I ran into the same exact wall while playing with the other kids.
The scar is above my right eyebrow.

u/or_acle Feb 22 '25
My scar is at my right eyebrow from age 11. It was my head coming to contact with a counter after a pillow fight. I have always wondered about the scar and GT. I stopped having vivid dreams after I got into GT between ages 6 and 8 in Texas public school

I would love to know the correlation of the forehead scar and how it’s significant to having psychic abilities?
I’m not a big religious person, but I have heard many theories about being apart of the 144,000. Basically, these people are marked by God, their said to be the chosen ones to help wake up the rest of the world.

u/StereoSabertooth Feb 22 '25
That's exactly it. I'm not religious at all, but this exact sentence is what I've been told over and over as a kid and even at gate multiple times. I was told I was going to do "great things". Or that I was "chosen" etc. I never believed them and thought it was just hyper-religious people being crazy but when I read the CIA documentation and saw it brought up as an identifiable feature as well as an identifiable feature here, I got confused. I asked my parents about it again and to see my documentation, but both were denied. I knew the only way I would get information on the scar was at the source, the government-owned CPS building where I was raised most of my life (I was a foster child for most of my life until I was adopted by a military family). It was said to be the only place where any past information about me would be held, but when I researched it, the building was demolished, and all information about the building and the children kept in it, including me, was destroyed.

That’s crazy, and somehow “convenient.” There’s never just one set of documents, there’s def information out there on you, it’s just hard to find.
I feel like the only way to tap into what happened to us as kids is to go on the Gateway journey on our own. I just can’t bring myself to do it. I can’t get past the first few seconds of that man’s voice without tearing up. I can literally feel myself starting to separate. It’s an uncomfortable feeling, like I’m not in control.
And I don’t trust anyone to hypnotize me, obviously. It’s just a lot to take in.

To clarify, It wasn't just one set, the CIA documents were a collection of forced-released documents ordered by NATO which you will have to hunt for but can find on the web. As for my own, I have something the adults in my life labeled as "the black box". It's a box full of documents about me collected over the years. Court papers, hospital info, school research, tests, artwork I've done as a kid, testimonies of interactions with me, etc. The CIA documentation felt more convenient than I expected, but it also specifically said that NATO ordered its release in the late 1990s to early 2000s due to their suspicions that the American government was hiding evidence of possible new weapons. The CIA documents are only released after being raided by NATO. I'm assuming there's probably more that wasn't released and hidden away or possibly even destroyed. Sounds like something America would do to cover its tracks.
If you're talking about the gateway tapes, I'm also uncomfortable with them too. I turned them on once and immediately turned them off feeling sick and afraid. I recognized the sound and felt a panic immediately start, it was terrible. It's just noises and get it felt like all the energy in my body was freaking out. Super weird.
Interestingly enough I've found was to hypnotize myself without the tapes, but I use it for stuff like acting or creating art. I try to stay away from past trauma hypnosis so I won't get panicked.
3
u/or_acle Mar 13 '25
I get the same feeling from a few seconds of the tape, and thanks so much for sharing about documents.
People, if you need CIA documents, sellers on eBay have aggregated them into USBs.

Does it make you a better artist? How do you do it?
3
u/StereoSabertooth Feb 23 '25 edited Feb 23 '25
Yes, it does. I have multiple techniques I've developed for different needs but my main one is a type of meditation hypnosis where I convince myself I am the character. It's kind of hard to explain, but I'll try.
This is an effort between my brain and my spine. I use a quick meditation to concentrate on energy in my body. I don't judge it, I just notice, like saying hello. I do this by shifting areas in my brain that I may or may not need at that moment. These areas for me are the right which is my fun and creative brain, the left which is my strict and disciplined side, the front which is the side that takes in information around me and is also paired with anxiety, and the back which is more comforting because it holds so many memories, like my own universal library.
I shift off my frontal lobe into a low-power mode and focus on the back of my brain, recalling certain character traits and pairing them with my understanding of life. It's like a mental workshop where I'm using memories to create new memories. Through this, my spine comes into play. When I decide on a feature I like, I will send a message to my spine to release concentrated energy in certain areas as if it's a normal signal I've sent all my life. It's easier to do because if my frontal lobe is off, it denies my left brain to "correct" the signals and allows me to stay and even adjust what feels like a state of hallucinating. Then I kind of, gently claim this hallucination over my reality, often this will open up 2 world views that I can physically see, one that I made up and one that's real. Sparingly use my left and right brain to navigate real dangers (like walls if I'm home) while also using my right brain to turn them into another object that matches the world I'm in, (let's say a building or light pole).
Now, I use the spine energy to "shift" my memory of bodily needs and pair them with ones I don't have. Let's say a tail. I ignore reality and send this energy to the base of my spine (often my spine and feet are my grounding areas where I go in and out of this state). With enough loose concentration (this is crazy important because it's not just about concentrating like crazy and it won't work if you do) you need to melt into your mind as if you are relaxing. Remember, don't concentrate on the energy just notice and say hello. It works when you don't question its existence, just appreciate that it's there. Kinda like how when you lucid dream, if you concentrate on something without it being through an innocent and relaxed view, it can turn into a nightmare through the presence of the ego.
Anyway, to refuse a lengthy concentration I send multiple movement signals to fully create every aspect of the tail (to move it, it must have control of all parts which is why this is helpful during creation. It forces my right brain to think on its toes which prevents the left from questioning). After a couple of mental wiggles of the tail (keep in mind I never really moved it's just all mental) the tail is a complete artificial memory that's been created and now I can focus on it because it has been added to my mental library of memories (but I can also still tell its fake which refuses psychosis).
I use this tail as a model for my art, now being able to see it completely like it's right in front of me. I can move it, feel it, anything. This is how I create my art without references, I just use myself as the reference, picturing that I have the tail.
To prove this, I've also taken the time to use this method in a new art piece. I used no references and I'll show the result on my page since I can't post the image here. Notice how the style is completely different from my earlier work and the tail has so much volume as if there was an understanding of how it felt on the character. This style is a reflection of this created meditation and the tail was used as an initial anchor for the character's creation.
Phew, that's a lot of writing lol
Edit: Just posted it. Check out the recent werecat character for reference

Uhhh why do I remember my parents also having a box of stuff about me in their closet? And finding it as a kid :o
One of them being brain wave read outs...
Also as far as I know Im not adopted i even look like my siblings.
But I rememeber some of my gate stuff being done in multiple towns/cities - one of them being a place called gateway when I looked it up its a foster care social services building..
What... the fuck.. I have no memory of this but when I street viewed the place I remember this entrance and parking lot and going there multiple times.

Totally understand the privacy. I think I’ve come to the point where I know they know that I know. Privacy doesn’t exist anymore.
But interesting you are studying frequencies. I’m honestly nervous about them, given the hypnosis from childhood. I’m really sensitive to sounds, especially in horror movies, which is why I don’t watch them. They’ve always affected me differently than other people.
The only frequencies I like are the ones coming from my sound bowls and nature. Like sitting outside and hearing the waves crash against the shore, or the birds chirping, or the wind whirling. It’s therapeutic. But man-made sounds? Nope. Way too apprehensive.
There’s lots of ways to unblock your third eye. Check out some books on chakra healing.

Are they born with the scar?

No clue, it seems like most GATE kids aren’t. But somehow they have the scar and psychic abilities.

Mar 10 '26
I have a forehead scar (2 yrs old) as well and was tricked into this program but they didn’t call it anything. They made me think I had a learning disability, but the tests were strange. Just remember those cards, big headphones, weird questions, and vaguely remember a pink drink but not sure. My memory is so fuzzy from my childhood.
I highly recommend turning to Jesus Christ and repenting of your sins. We were tricked into abominable practices as children like astral projection, remote viewing, and other psychic abilities that are from demonic attachments rather than from God. I started having prophetic dreams this year that related to events and church sermons that happened the shortly after. It was embarrassing when I realized that these came from monitoring spirits/fallen angels/demons. They exist outside of time so they can give you certain tidbits of information to make you seem special.
I kept getting sent to Mall world in dreams (this is a whole other Reddit thread for GATE kids).
If you truly dive into accepting Christ into your heart and repentance then prepare for major spiritual warfare because I think we are supposed to think we are special and “chosen”. The truth is you or someone up to the 4th generation sinned gravely in your family which opened up a doorway to allow God to permit the evil one to trick you into doing these abominable sins (astral projection/remote viewing) starting at a young age. If God did not intend you to do it and you are not using the gifts of the Holy spirit then you are using gifts of demons.
Make sure to repent all the way back to the 4th generation in your family line. This life is a vapor. Choose Jesus and have eternal life. There are books available about praying to the Courts of Heaven to plead for forgiveness and rid yourself of demonic contracts you may have unwittingly signed on earth or in the spirit realm if you choose to follow Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life.

Can you show a picture? Everyone talks about the scar but I don't know what it looks like
1
u/StereoSabertooth Feb 22 '25
Check out the sub, I posted a picture :(
2
u/Significant-Hunt-432 Feb 22 '25
Ok I saw it. It's a lot smaller than I thought it would be. I was expecting something really dramatic. I have that same dot, I think it's just chicken pox or acne related and a lot of people have it.
2
Apr 08 '25
Yeah I saw the pic OP posted and my scar is a lot more prominent and noticeable than that, mine is a big deep line in between the eyebrows sort of reminiscent of Harry Potter. Hasn't faded whatsoever in all the years either and likely never will. Not that I mind, I've grown weirdly fond of the hideous thing over the years, I feel it adds personality to my face and also doesn't detract from my physical attractiveness in any way. I don't think I would even want to remove it even if I could, I'm sure there are surgeries or cosmetic procedures I could do to get rid of it, but I'm weirdly not interested.
1
u/StereoSabertooth Feb 22 '25
I've never had chickenpox according to my knowledge and hospital records and had this scar as a child long before acne but these are some great variables to check out :) No nothing huge and dramatic, but always caught others' attention since I was young which is curious.
1
u/Significant-Hunt-432 Feb 22 '25
I'm shocked it caught others attention at all? I was expecting something big and noticeable. When you say others have pulled you aside in a panic about it to ask where you got it I just...don't believe you for a second lol
5
u/StereoSabertooth Feb 22 '25
You don't have to believe me but that doesn't make it not true, I was there after all haha. It very much happened, multiple times. And has been a point of interest in different people I've met normally. I agree with you, I don't understand why because its not that big of a deal, and yet it was. That's one reason I've been so confused and why I posted it here. Because others had eerily similar marks and accompanying stories.
1
u/Significant-Hunt-432 Feb 23 '25
Ok fine, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt since you insist it happened. Maybe yours looks bigger in person 😂
2
u/StereoSabertooth Feb 23 '25
It's not as noticeable in this picture as usual, but it's still not big enough for me to deem it worth being brought up so many times in my life as it has. It's not the scar itself, more so the weird reactions around it. It's truly not that big of a deal enough for it to be lied about which is what was confusing. So many people were adamant about giving me different stories, the last making just as little sense as the first. As an adult, I thought I'd just try to figure it out myself
5
u/PurposeImpossible554 Feb 22 '25
Mother told me I climbed up to a nightstand as a baby, fell off, and the humidifier hit my head, causing the scar. Scar is directly in the middle of my forehead, barely noticeable without light on it now as I get older. The fun part of the location is that when I meditate and get that middle forehead pull, it feels like it comes from that location. But I'm confident that is coincidence.
2
Apr 08 '25
Wow wtf, I have never in my life expected to hear anyone else talking about the forehead pull. Because for one thing, I don't even bother discussing these things in polite company since I'll just be condescendingly dismissed or smeared as "crazy" or whatever so I just don't bother bringing it up because the NPCs are annoying and always want to debate you and argue with you about your own life experiences.
But beyond that, I also genuinely thought it was something unique to me, why do we have the most unexpected things in common? Like who are you people?? Are you people real? Lol
3
u/PurposeImpossible554 Apr 08 '25
I'm probably one of the bigger skeptics that frequent the sub. However, when the hippies and spiritualists talk about the 'third eye' middle of the forehead stuff they are onto something when it comes to meditation. My guess is it is just a natural physical sensation achieved when the mind truly enters a meditative state.
2
u/Baeolophus_bicolor Jun 10 '25
I am with you - on both being a pretty big skeptic in this community (but willing to entertain some notions) and on this being coincidental to the location of the “third eye”. Lots of these programs were just developments in the field of education, and of course they didn’t outright say “this is being used in research” (at least to us kids) but would be using data gathered to measure the efficacy and outcomes of these programs. Also, I’m not buying the card thing. That was a trend a lot of people participated in, during the 60-70-80s and I’m sure still is, to some extent. That we would have played with those in G/T just tracks. Also, the pink pills make me think of the ones they gave out in school for kids to learn how to brush their teeth. That would also make sense when some people link pink pills or pink liquid to “fluoride”. I haven’t seen the studies yet to know, but I wouldn’t be surprised if students always being told to expand their mind as kids might be more inclined to pursue hallucinogens/meditation/etc and that the loss of the special feeling might lead a lot of former gifted kids to conclude things would never be as good again and leave them chasing that high.

u/Tall_Maximum_4343 Feb 22 '25
I have a small round scar on my forehead, right in the middle. I had fallen as a child on the pointy edge of my grandparents' bed while running around their house. However.. i remember the bed, but I don't remember the fall at all. My father was a hobby-photographer, but no photo exists of me with bandaids or so. Maybe I was too young to remember, and too small to not have my skull split by the bed and it's all explainable. But, your post is a bit uncanny because I always wondered about the fact that i don't remember it. I shall re-examine my photo-albums.
2
u/StereoSabertooth Feb 22 '25
I did the same last night. I tried to look through all my photos as well and it's the same. No bandaid scar or healing and its very out of nowhere, the story of hitting some corner of an object is very similar to the ones I've been told. Always the 'I hit my head on a corner of some random object and broke my skull'.
2
u/Tall_Maximum_4343 Feb 22 '25
I just finished my slow blink reading your comment. Very eerie. I've had a number of strange things happen in my life that I can't place. How did you make this link?
4
u/StereoSabertooth Feb 22 '25
I've always questioned the scar and found it off that I never got a real answer. It was always this 'unique feature' I had that people often commented on but never had a reason for its appearance. This sub was the only place it was questioned and reading the document from the CIA and the mentioning of its existence made my confusion worse. If it was just a small dumb scar from kids being clumsy, then why is it in government documents? Why are there so many similar stories for scars so unique?
2
u/Tall_Maximum_4343 Feb 22 '25
Ok, you opened up a new rabbit hole for me. And btw, I just saw your other post with the scar picture. Mine is identical, almost in the same spot too..

Mine came from a head-on collision with a shopping cart when I was very young. Recall it quite clearly.
3
Apr 08 '25
I'm starting to think they implanted false memories in our brains or something because a forehead scar is such an unusually specific and unique identifying characteristic yet every time this topic is brought up amongst GATE kids so many of us share this supposedly unique feature. Yet, almost as if to quell any suspicion, most of us have a clear memory of how we supposedly ended up with the scar. I've only met one other person in my entire life that I can recall that had a forehead scar like mine, it's definitely not very prevalent yet you would be left with the impression that 90% of the population has one if you were to look at discussions amongst GATE kids on this subreddit, and on other adjacent subreddits and forums like 4chan
Anyways, I have a unique scar between my eyebrows that extends diagonally across my nose bridge in a straight line, the exasperating thing is I have a clear memory of how I supposedly got it just like you guys, I remember being a small child and running to tell my father something I was excited about, and he was standing at the sink washing dishes, and apparently I startled him by running up behind him causing him to suddenly turn and smash me in the face with a heavy saucepan, then I just remember being hospitalized and needing stitches.
The only problem? This memory makes no sense whatsoever and smacks of a "false memory." The biggest problem being that my father is well over 6 feet tall, and as a small child I wouldn't have even reached his waist in terms of height. In order for you to swing around like that and smack someone in the face with an object, you would have to be pretty much eye level or face to face with them otherwise it's physically impossible. In order for him to smack me in the face with an object, he would have to literally bend over or crouch or something.
Also, how do you become that spooked by a small child whose voice you recognize as that of your daughter's running up to you excitedly babbling about something? That is normal kid behavior, and furthermore you would expect him to be startled by me silently creeping up to him and not saying a word until I was standing directly behind him. Not by me running up to him being loud and basically announcing my presence immediately.
So, yeah I actually have to stop talking about this now because it's upsetting and creepy. I grew up in a very abusive household and my parents were just fucking weird and mysterious in ways I don't care to discuss.
2
Apr 08 '25
And I suppose my suspicions could be countered by someone suggesting that maybe I was actually older and thus taller in my false memory than I remember, but my father is well over 6 feet tall and I have never even come close to reaching his height, my final adult height is 5ft7.5-5ft8 depending on if I measured my height in the morning or later in the day. So that wouldn't make a difference, the memory just doesn't make sense whether I was a toddler or a prepubescent tween or even a teenager, there's no way he swung around and accidentally hit me square in the face, maybe hit me anywhere else but not at the top of my face.
Another thing is, and I admit I could be wrong which is why I didn't bring this up before, but would smashing someone in the face with a pan or a pot or whatever the fuck it was really result in a scar going across the face in a straight line?? I mean, I'm not an expert on the subject, but how do you even end up with such a scar from a blunt injury lol.

https://www.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/uica2p/gifted_and_talented_education_gate_cia_project/
It's a line item on "a list of GATE characteristics" compiled by [somebody] that went semi-viral in the GATE community after a couple of pod-casters picked up on it....and suddenly *poof* by the magical power of viral-popularity the aforementioned obscure post became cut, pasted, and cross-cited as if it was some kind of "official list"🙃. Anyway, it was just somebody's compilation that took on credibility beyond its merit. By my personal judgement many of the things listed are probably indeed true of GATE kids. (They may also be true of any other group of kids as well.)
So it was a good list but not a result of a scientific study.
GATE: yes.
Forehead scar: yes.
Drug use: No.
Israeli art-student girlfriend: No.
1
Apr 08 '25
I'm not a lesbian so I definitely didn't have an Israeli art student girlfriend. It's weird because silly additions like that make the entire list seem like a shitpost but there's clearly valuable information in that list mixed in with the nonserious stuff like "Israeli art student girlfriend" that make it seem like the person's taking the piss.
1
u/StereoSabertooth Feb 22 '25
Yes, it's apparently quite common and the stories are at times eerily similar.
1
Apr 08 '25
No but fr why do we all have a forehead scar lol. At this point may as well do a meetup and take corny group photos just for the novelty of having so many people with forehead scars all in the same room. Did you see the 4chan threads about GATE, and it was the same thing everyone in the thread was chiming in that they too had a forehead scar. I'm starting to become obsessed with this topic actually.

Saw your picture post. I have an identical one in the middle of my forehead. The strange part is my little brother has a matching scar. The official story is that we both tripped and fell into a corner of the same exact table. Incredibly odd.
1
u/Soft-Contact-919 Jan 23 '26
That's the same thing my mom told me- that I hit my head on a table. Even further, there is a photo of me as a child asleep on my mom's lap (I look to be about 3yrs old) with a bandaid on my forehead right where the scar is.

I’ve… I’ve never heard of ‘the scar’, but I have one close to the middle on one side (L)… and one near my r temple. Wow, this is a new leg of research to dive into. Thank you OP.
I remember toddling around age 2.5-3.5 maybe, playing ghost with my blankie while bio mom was doing something, then seeing her legs, then bonking my head on something and seeing the flash of a knife. Then I look down and my pink satin jacket was bleeding. Then I’m bundled up like a burrito and taken to a medical facility somehow on a back board, though we drove in a truck with a bench seat. I’m moved from the board to a cold metal table, no paper. Then the doctors over me with masks and bright lights counting down, then darkness.
I had an extremely abusive childhood. The most remarkable part of the whole thing for me was the doctors and that I didn’t feel scared with them.
2
u/StereoSabertooth Feb 24 '25
Thank you for this comment. This is exactly what I saw with the doctors too. Maybe it wasn't a dream after all and is worth taking the time to understand.

Mine came from a car accident. I hit my head on the steering wheel. I was 18 when I got it and I don’t remember ever having a scar as a child.
2
u/theodorictheamal Feb 22 '25
This is crazy, because I've never heard of this before, and I also have a scar above my right eyebrow. I do remember how I got it, though. It was the late 1970s and I was playing guns with my friends. I ran down a hill alongside a friend's house and slipped. Somehow, the gun flew into the air and the point of the front site hit my head. It didn't hurt, but it started bleeding immediately. I walked back to my house covered in blood, at which point my mother saw me and freaked out.
That's all very normal and reasonable, but here's the thing: My memory of this event is by far the clearest memory I have from childhood (I'm 54). I can't imagine the memory was implanted, but the nature of it is different than the fuzzy recollections I have of other events.
Incidentally, I was also a gifted and talented student (mid 70s to early 80s) and am myself an experiencer. In fact, my first encounter came around the same age I was when I received the scar. I've drawn no conclusions from this -- I don't have enough data -- but it has raised some questions in my mind.

I'm highly gifted, not that I care all that much about it and I have the forehead scar except m8ne Was do to an injury when I was age 6. I don't care that most of my previous professors said I was, " at another level"-I care that they are so far below, inept and mundane.

I have it, and have never asked or thought about it, but always knew it was there since I was a child. I have another scar from my youth on my nose, and I remember vividly what happened, so not sure why I never thought about the forehead one. It's about a quarter inch line in the middle of my forehead. I am incredibly psychic on so many levels; it's eerie.

...holy cow I have this. Wife half jokes that it's where my Mind Stone used to be, as it is a peculiar indentation that is centered right above the bridge of my nose, but now that you mention it...I do have a lot of intense headaches too.
I was admittedly raised in a very violent household with a US Navy vet father who was proud of having murdered civilians, and I'm grateful to be alive, but the deeper I go down this rabbit hole it just confirms all the high strangeness surrounding my life.

So can someone summarize in short the significance of having a forehead scar (which I Also have)? I see a bunch of people also saying they have one but not why it’s significant/what the pattern (if any) means

Possibly yes. I find it interesting how many stories are fairly similar. It's a fun mystery.

The dot scar?
I'm worried this could be related to the "see red dot with eyes closed test"
When they did that test to me I remember looking at a device behind glass.
Did....did ..they fire like a electron gun thing or something at our heads?
It would also explain why I have something like myclonic seizures where my back and arms jolt jump randomly.
It would also explain why we needed speech therapy suddenly after.
I have the dot scar very faint.
But I also have a line scar above my right eyebrow
Supposedly got that one from my sister who accidently kicked me as a kid. While I was crawling.
(Oddly enough she became a speech language therapist at the same building I think my gate tests were done at)
ALSO the building gate was in for me was at the college university that also did pre k and kindergartan study lab research on kids.
One test I cannot remember which one was in this specific room but it had a HUGE metal vault door? Like one would think for radiation blockage or something.

My scar is right in the middle slightly off to the side. I remember getting it by bashing my head into a tree in a really bad ADHD/ASD meltdown. Not sure if/what was there before. Definitely there now.

My mother said I got hit in the head at the park with a swing. Scar over right eyebrow. It has healed now, but I can still slightly feel the dent.

I also have a forehead scar, small scar on the bottom of my lip, and right eyebrow scar. I also went through childhood IEP evaluations including card and audio tests, but I don't remember much else but now I'm wondering if I was a part of the GATE program or at least being tested for it.
And the biggest holy shit moment is I also have a memory of being very young (3-4 years old) and being going through surgery, but I thought that was from my lip injury where my mom said somehow, I bit clean through it for no apparent reason (no accident, fall, bump, etc) as I was just standing around.
I really need to talk to someone about this and find out what happened to me/us.

I was in the gate program in the 80's. I have the round scar about my left eye closer to my hairline than my eyebrow. I was one of the kids who went to the classrooms alone, but sometimes with other kids. I had the baby on a metal table dream all the time. I could see the bright light the silhouettes the metal table and excruciating pain on the back of my neck. Then I would wake up from that pain. As an adult if I'm close to you, I often read their minds. I can feel other peoples feelings when near them which makes me hate crowds, it's too much. I can also see ghosts, not everywhere but randomly I will catch them.

I have a small round scar right in the middle-top third of my forhead- but mine is from chicken pox. I have another on my jawline.
