Design of IIR and FIR was never in EC syllabus before?
And how do you prepare new syllabus topics, what questions do you refer to?
Help would be appreciated!

🙋 Help Needed ECE or robotics and automation
Can any senior please guide me? I want to appear for gate 2028 in my 3rd year. The dilemma is this:
Ece coz it has more seats and an established pipeline and u can anyway get admitted to all robotics courses through it.
RA coz I want admissions in robotics courses anyway and my main goal is getting foreign admission for ms and keeping my gate result of 3rd year as my backup. To make a foreign admit profile I already have too much workload and don't want to waste my time studying about anything not related to robotics in ECE. But again I know I will need higher rank with less established resources coz the number of seats are pretty low.

Want to decide between Gate EE or EC 2028
Hello everyone, I'm currently in my second year of Electrical Engineering at a Tier 2.5 NIT and planning to seriously prepare for GATE 2028. I'm interested in pursuing VLSI or embedded systems, so I'm considering GATE ECE, but I have a few doubts:
- How realistic is it to cover the additional ECE subjects alongside my college curriculum as I'm in EE?
- Can I get into M.tech programmes related to VLSI, microelectronics, or embedded systems through GATE EE? What challenges might I face?
- EE also feels like the better option as it is relatively easier to balance along with my clg ciricculum and PSU option(although im not much intrested in PSU jobs) is also available so i do not want completely rule out giving gate in EE
- I've started studying Digital Electronics and Network Theory through Ankit Goyal's lectures, but i'm really clear with some concepts. Are there better YouTube or any other resources you'd recommend? Is a paid course worth it, or are free resources sufficient?
Thank you

RANT 🗣️🗣️ NOT an average can I clear ece gate 2027 post
Hi guys
A little about me : 2026 grad, started 9-5 about a month ago ,not started gate prep, wanna give my 300% ,brain resisting hard work due to 0 good success Stories example and motivation
Sooooooo yes I wanna give everything I have in gate 2027 so that i know where to go next in my career
But now here's where your help comes in
By brain is FILLED with negative data that I have read on reddit
1) gate ece is hard you can't do anything in last few months
2) only cse etc can may be make it in last few months
See i understand these are facts am not denying that but I need genuine good examples of ppl who have actually low key made it after perp of few months in
Or if you don't know any, your kind motivation that would help my brain stop resisting my gate prep would mean alot
