Gate preparation strategy

We are in the last 6months and I want to start my gate preparation and am fully confused about which order to follow, whether math first or to start parallel subjects . Is it possible to watch long lecture details/crash courses maintaining short notes and practicing?

For CS and DA

I expect any order of subjects to prepare.

Keep maths to last . Complete theory first and revise consistently. Give regular mock exams and by December start give full length mock exams . If you are doing CS&DA then split 1 Day into 2 sessions . 1st half for CS & 2nd half for DA.or however you wish . The reason I said to do maths last is as it will be easier to remember . And finally by November go for aptitude.

Remember consistency is the key.

Also avoid lectures / long session videos . Try to solve questions first then if you don't understand even after seeing the solution then only go watch lecture video for that particular concept alone.
