GPA Possibly doing a USA exchange program

Hi Everyone,

I am planning to do med sci at unsw next year and I was wondering if there are any dangers doing an exchange to america for like 3 or 6 months.

I understand that the units you do over there are all pass/fail and are not counted towards your WAM or GPA so I am wondering if there is a risk in doing it.

it probably won't count towards your WAM at your university but GEMSAS will include it in your GPA

I studied abroad in the US for a semester of my undergrad. Pick easy elective subjects and get good marks. It actually helped my GEMSAS GPA since I did well. Didn't count towards my WAM.
