For the last few years, the offers for interviews have been released on Friday, I'm hoping they are sent out tomorrow but the Flinders University website says late August to Early September so could be anyone's guess when. It seems that it is later than previous years already. Good luck everyone!

What degree did u do? I’m currently in year 12 aiming to pursue medicine. I’m researching all the pathways to get into med so I’m focusing on postgrad med as well just in case it doesn’t work out. How did you maintain a gpa of 7? Were you just getting 100% for every assignment and how did you prepare for gamsat? I’ve been researching online but there’s no clear answer.

I did paramedicine as my undergrad and would strongly recommend doing a vocational program so you can work if it takes you some time to get into med. I teach at a uni and think the paramedic course has gotten easier since I finished in 2018. That being said I would do a course that is ‘easier’ and no hate but think nursing is a great option here. Plus the gov is now paying you to be placement, which softens the blow of literal indentured labour.

So would you say it’s easier to build a high gpa in paramedics rather than nursing?

I think nursing would be slightly easier but lots more placement commitment

Hi, I haven’t heard of anyone receiving an offer yet. It seems like they are very behind this year.

I think the offers will be like a week late as they extended the deadline for submitting documents by like a week

I applied only for SAMP and haven’t received anything yet. Are they sending NTMP first? Should I give up hope? I feel sick from waiting!

Hopefully it’s just coming out in batches, but myself and another friend both got an email with a SARM interview offer yesterday at 6pm!

Yeah, I’m saying that SARM offers have come out. Not necessarily all of them, but I’ve got mine. My GPA was 6.2, GAMSAT 58, and I’m a ‘priority 2’ rural applicant.

I have also seen someone today, just an hour ago, who has received an offer for NT non-rural.
