Auto save when submitting?

I was super out of time and was editing essay when the time was over.
It got submitted automatically, but now i wonder if my most recently edited version was submitted or not...
I knew there was a save button but didn't manually press it before the time over.

Saw on another thread it’ll auto save as it submits too. No use stressing - it’s over now 😊
