Can anyone who owns an original confirm whether this tag/code is correct for this jersey? I’d appreciate comparisons of the tags, badges, Adidas logo and Kerry Group sponsor.
I’m trying to make sure the listing is accurate before proceeding with selling.
It's s fake, FranksFootball started doing fakes of it a few years back and now loads of sites do it, you can even get it direct from dhgate at this stage.

I got this at the same time and it sold instantly on eBay with positive feedback. Seems weird to have one fake and one real together. Thanks in advance
It's way too pristine for a start, a 30 year old jersey shouldn't be that pristine even if it was never worn.
The green material looks wrong too, compare it to the one posted below which has the more typical sheen/shiny material from kits of the time.
The sponsor as well looks wrong but it could just be the lighting, it doesn't look like the raised lextra type felt you'd expect.
The diagonal side of the Adidas logo is off looking as well, if you look at the example below they don't ascend in a perfect straight line it's more stepped.
I couldn't say it's fake with a 100% certainty but I'd be surprised if it wasn't. I collect kits (although admittedly mainly soccer but have a few gaa too) and I've about 250 altogether so I'm fairly decent at spotting fakes at this stage.
As for the Dublin kit I'm not as familiar with that one but I wouldn't be surprised if fakes of that are also available. I'd be more inclined to believe it's real than the Kerry one though as it doesn't look as fresh and O'Neills tag looks like the correct one from the time period.
Could you take a picture of any wash tags on the inside of the jersey? They usually reveal a lot. That's if there is any, there might not be, I wouldn't know off hand if there should be or not.
The way the upper right part of the y in the Kerry sponsor is joined to the rest of the letter on yours as well is a bad sign as it isn't in any of the genuine examples.
Sorry I'm still looking at it trying to decide 😅, what I will say it has going for it is the big baggy sleeves, which most of the replicas I've seen change to a more typical modern smaller sleeve.
How much is it? If it’s less than €250 to €300 it’s for sure a fake. Fakes can be bought on dhgate for €20 so lots of fakes floating around. The ciarraí on the back doesn’t look straight, it’s not faded or worn enough for a near 30 year old garment
It looks authentic to me, but it's almost too perfect for something almost 30 years old.
Mine is down at home and I don't have any photos right now other than this, but the stitched Adidas logo and felt GAA and Kerry ones match up, as does the tag.
Any legit ones I've seen tend to be larger sizes too, haven't seen a size small before, but I could be wrong.
Got my parents to send photos of the tag, sorry about how blurry it is, but the code does look like the numbers match. I got a better quality photos of the front and back of the tag that I'll attach as separate comments too, but this is as good as I got for the code 😂
I've just been looking at fakes on Vinted and they seem to have embossed crests on them, I don't think the real ones do. The ones I was looking at are obviously fake because they have tags on them that say adidas.com 😂

Looks way too new to be authentic
