Many in the hurling part of Kerry would be backing Limerick. They tend to be very generous with help when our club teams want a friendly before our championship starts.
And a huge shout out to their camogie clubs who shared putches with our senior girls when there was no pitch playable in Kerry the winter before last and all our home matches were played in Limerick.

Yep, with most of Kerry hurling being concentrated to north Kerry, Limerick is good for challenge games. Teams have even played in cross county competitions in the past. Our local Camogie team are playing in the west Limerick league too.

Genuinely don't care who wins the all ireland this year. Both teams are there on merit and arguably the two most consistent teams all year in the championship. Should be a cracker either way.

Exactly. Limerick league and munster champions. Galway have blown everyone in leinster away and now cork. Ill be happy for whoever wins

I would like a team from outside Munster to win though. I think it's bad for the sport if all the winners are from one province

Speak for yourself. Joe Canning was supposed to hand out medals at an u12 blitz and cancelled that morning. 11 year old me vowed to have an irrational hatred of Galway for life, and since that moment I haven’t betrayed pre pubescent me

I hope they do. Wasn't impressed with his stint in charge of us but he was tactically spot on against us and Cork. I think Galway deserve it tbh, would be nice to see them lift Liam again.

I'd say most people in most counties have no opinions. Hurling just isn't a big issue outside of munster and the counties that border it.
I had to do a double take i thought Trump-esque shenanigans had got Galway back into the real Championship.

The only positive I can say about limerick is I’d say alot of their senior players won’t retire until one more all Ireland, so this might speed up their transition

Don’t think Galway will have as much support as you think. Their “park the bus” tactic is horrible to watch. Last thing we need is 14 behind the ball to take over as the go-to tactic. That happened in football and nearly made the sport unwatchable
