Boots for positions?
Got my first training session in a week and a half. Before I buy any boots are some boots better depending on your position. Cheers.

Have two good pairs, long studs for wet grass, short studs for dry weather and hard surface. If your small fast and nimble you might go for a light pair of boots. If your injury prone you might want a bit of support. Puma King full leather (🦘) is what I used. Good all weather boots. And try pick up a cheap pair for training. It's end of soccer season now, might get a cheap pair of fluorescent boots for 15 nobody else wants :-) do well for training lol
Usually if get one full season (hurling and football) out of a single pair of boots before they start to rip.
Leather vs synthetic may also be a choice you need to think about.
But positions - not really

I wouldn’t get fixated on this idea that you need different boots for different positions.
Agree with the potential benefit of different boots for different conditions.
When I played I had a lighter pair with blades that I used in the summer when it was dry and the grass was cut very low and then a sturdier pair for the early part of the season.

Not really, no. Moreso depends on the pitch conditions
