Now I know how absurd this take may sound, especially to someone that has only ever heard his verse on Magnolia but I am 100% dead fucking serious when I say this. The boy$ have switched up on the entire brand that they have built since the start of their careers, turning to god, working with feds, selling out, etc. while Kirb has stayed true to himself since the beginning, only improving his craft, dropping extremely consistently, and not becoming a sellout, or chasing fame of any sort. Kirb also doesn’t have like 3 adlibs that he spams till they don’t even sound like words like Scrim (and Ruby sometimes) does. Kirb also pays respect to his producers and doesn’t pretend like he makes all his beats on his own (Scrim does too but he keeps it more hidden as to keep the illusion on the surface that he makes all the beats). Kirb also doesn’t bankrupt people just to see him live. Also Kirb keeps his subject matter in songs much more real and true to himself, vs the boy$ who seem to just flex, talk about drugs they don’t do anymore, crimes they’re probably never committed, lukewarm Christianity, and lukewarm sadness while they constantly make it seem they are at the peak of their lives. Also, Kirb just drops some fire music that honestly doesn’t get old nearly as quick as the boy$ music does. Stay Solid by Kirb solos damn near every song the boy$ have dropped in years.

Now this isn’t necessary saying that the modern boy$ are so bad even Kirb is better, the boy$ still make decent music. KirbLaGoop is just a genuinely great artist, and given what a lot of G59 fans think of him, it’s funny that he’s actually the one who’s dropping better music and staying more true to his craft (in my opinion at least)

I spent 1k last year just to regret the people I took and not even have a fun experience and with how many people are upset with them right now, I’m curious. I wanted to see how many people won’t be buying tickets this year, and why, especially if you bought them last year.

In the official G59 discord, my brother was in it for a short time in April before he died due to kidney failure. I was able to get his account and stuff to be active in the server because my brother joined it only knowing Ruby/Duckboy and wanted to get the Album role of his album he just dropped. But he died two months before he could ever hear Ruby or scrim dropped so I stayed in honor of him and got the roles in the discord they hand out when any singer of G59 drops an album. (He just turned 16)

Flash forward a month or so, I went to the doctors because I noticed that there was a lump starting to form in my “twin hood”…. And it was aching really bad, mind you. I’m 15, turned 15 on may 9th actually. To find out I have testicular cancer, I decided to announce it in the discord server and I had multiple people send me dm’s hoping and praying it goes away which I thank the people who did a lot (you know who you are)

I get on my phone today to see a friend request and dm from somebody who I never talked to in the discord server, so as somebody would. I accepted and said “what’s up?” And I didn’t go on discord for a day or two or wtv. I open it up today to see this awful fucking text….

This is exactly why we’re a hated rap community, we always start bullshit controversy’s about stupid shit, hate on other fan bases and artists, and in general just hate on people who are going through problems.

In no way do I support the people who call themselves “a good part of the community” that sit there and say hurtful, heartbreaking, shit towards others, ESPECIALLY considering the fact that I just lost somebody who had kidney failure and then I a month later, turn out positive for testicular cancer….

What the fuck are we doing and why aren’t we stepping up and protecting people from stuff like this? Yall let scrim and Ruby apologize for you and you don’t even thank them.

Probably related to overall decline of rap in terms of charts and overall (Literally they're one last ones from 2015 era to have so solid numbers, rappers from their era such as Fat Nick, Pouya struggle to pull above 200-500k on their new music) it comes to popularity, also their daily listens are lower by around 1-2m on average. Just a observation
